What is the Flying Nimbus made out of? How was it created? Why was it created? How did Goku get it?

well originally I think Grandpa Gohan (Goku's foster father) gave it to him (or was it Roshi? must get the early manga sometime) It gets blown up at some point, then Korin gives him another from a massive stash of them he has handy ^_^

K, let me see what I can say on this topic. . .

Lunch was the first Super Saiya-jin. Just kidding of course, but she did have the ability to get gold (blonde) hair and gain an incredible amount of power. Anyways, they (as has been said) basically took her out of dubbed Dragonball because of what she does (crazy b*tch with lots of guns). But, there is a scene in the earlier episodes which shows Chichi with lots of guns, trying to go rescue Gohan during the Radditz fight (or was it Vegita and Nappa fight?), which really didn't make sense unless they had shown the character Lunch earlier.

Um. . .does the original name of the cloud really translate to candy cloud? I believe (actually, know for a fact) that the cloud's name was Kintoun and that there were many Kintoun. What else. . .only a person with a pure (probably good) heart can ride the cloud (which includes Chichi, Goku and his sons, and probably no one else. Heh, Roshi couldn't ride the cloud, which is why he gave it away).

And Goku doesn't take a Kintoun with him to Namek because he's much faster then the clouds could travel (which makes them mostly obsolete later on, except with Gohan riding one to school).

no it's the candy cloud i saw it on a subbed translation of Dragonball tghe turtle said somthing about Kame senin "Master Roshi" not being able to get on the candy cloud then Master Roshi said hed give Bulma a dragonball if she showed him her panties then she flashed and she had no panties on heheh buck naked

The turtle wouldn't say candy cloud, because its (the cloud's) name is Kintoun. Like I said, I don't know the translation. :(
And if it's a fansub, then (as said by a member of dbml3) there are different quality levels of fansubs, ranging from near perfect translations to those fansubs where every character is translated to cuss every few second (Goku, "Can you pass me the salt?" Chichi, "No you f*cking b*tch, get it yourself!") :)

And the pure-hearted Kintoen thing ... Can't other Z fighters ride it? I thought I remembered Kulilen, Tien, and Choutzu riding it.

Like I said, I believe that it's only ever shown Goku, Chichi, and Gohan riding the cloud (and Goten with Gohan in the second Dragonball Z opening). It might be. . .um, what'cha call it, just a pic though, with Tenshinhan (et al).
Like, I have a deck of Ranma 1/2 playing cards, and one'a the cards is kinda imitating Dragonball, with a Dragonball and a Kintoun. ^_^;;
