I HATE JULIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, this isn't exactly fair considering I haven't actually seen the episodes she's in yet (25 &26), but from the little bits you see and hear about her in Ballad of Fallen Angels and Jupiter Jazz, I've realized that I want this woman to die a horrible, painful death.

She's just so.....superior-like and stuff, it pisses me off that everyone seems to worship her.

CAN'T THEY SEE THAT FAYE'S SOOOOOO MUCH BETTER?????? WHAT IS SPIKE BLIND OR SOMETHING?!

As you can see, faye and julia are hot, but there are hotter girls out there for spike to go after if looks were all that mattered.

Faye is a great character.I have nothing against her at all.

Julia isn't all that bad because she isn't as selfish as Faye.She takes others into consideration more than herself.
Faye hardly seems to care about anybody but herself almost all the time.Julia is a lot more caring and kind in my opinion.

You Might hate Julia but can you imagine the series without her. Her purpose is not to make you like her.

Personally i think that she is an average character at best.

Her purpose is to enhance spikes character but i wouldn't go as far as to say that i hate her. spike seems like a pretty calm and controlled guy but when ever julia sows up he kinda loses it. Suddenly someone mentions julia's name and spike chages his seemingly carefree attitude 180 degrees.

She might not be "hip" or "pretty" but she adds contrast to the characters that really matter.

at least that's what i think.

First of all, I'm going to stay out of the looks debate completely; something like that is just totally subjective. (well not totally: I don't think either VT (ep. 7) or Twinkle Maria Murdoch (ep. 4) are going to get any votes.) Anyway, setting that aside...

Trying to judge Julia before you've actually seen her is a bit unfair. She seems a nice enough person, and after all she *SPOILER AHEAD! STOP READING IF YOU HAVEN"T SEEN THE END* chose to go on the run rather than be forced to kill Spike. Like Faye herself says, "She was just a normal woman; beautiful, dangerous, but still just a normal woman. Like an angelic demon, or maybe a demonic angel." I don't know what you draw your impressions from, but she isn't superior or self-righteous or anything like that. She's at least as good a character as the rest of them even if she doesn't get as much screen time.

Actually, even after 25 & 26 you really don't know a whole lot about Julia ...I don't want to ruin anything for Yui, however some things do happen during those two episodes that might make you care for her character a bit more. Well, maybe ...:rolleyes2

You'll have to come back to this thread after you've seen the last two episodes to tell us what you think ;)
