what is escaflowne??

i know it has mechs in it but can someone tell me the storyline and if its really good etc??? ive seen shots and am gonna get it once its over here in perth if i hear enuff good stuff :)

Escaflowne is a really good anime show that everyone should watch! It has alot of plot and is suspenseful and romantic! I personally love this show and i think mostly everyone else does too.

Fine, i will give a more detailed description:
ok, hitomi gets teleported to gaea...
no, that would take too long. i think the jist of it is this, girl get teleported to another planet, guy falls in love with girl, girl and guy detroy machine, girl goes home, guy is sad.

Pretty much, lots of conflicts in the series though, i mean, Allen does ask Hitomi to marry him... And even though Van doesn't want them to he doesn't say anything (don't worry, she says no!) and her and van end up together in the end, very dramatic and suspensful story, that is the main plot, but there is so much more to the series. You gotta watch it.

It is not a show, it is an adventure. :D

Watch it and I tell you that you wont regret it. I loved every minute of it. Plus its soundtrack is awesome and so powerful. Sometimes when I watch it, I actually cry because all of the elements in the particular scene fits so perfectly and it brings out such a powerful feeling.

Trust us man, it is worth it. :)

I totally agree with Baka K i did cry too for some of it. It is a very moving show and i enjoyed it so much i want to buy the subtitled and dubbed series! I know where i can get them, but i need to write them.. so i will have it all to watch very soon! :D thene i will be ecstatic!
