Planet Destruction

What is so big about destroying a planet? Goku was so shocked to find that he could destroy Namek if he wanted to. Piccolo also was shocked. Their is nothing special about that in the DBZ world. Piccolo destroyed the moon no problems, Vegita destoyed the planet Arlia before arriving on Earth, he only had a power level of 28,000. He also was about to destroy Earth but Goku beam was stronger than Vegitas. Whats the deal?

And if he did cut it in Half why did'nt Namak Spew out Lava like it did a Couple of episodes Back

what a lame reason. couldn't you come up with a better reason? why didn't you say "some invisible martians with a power level of 2 billion 6 hundred and eleventy-eleven, came along and used some really high tech thingy that stop the lava from flowing out. then the martians went home and drank Boa Malt Beer". see that would've sounded a lot better....:stareup:

i don't think frieza cut and sliced namek in half, but from that attack, goku could sense frieza had the power to do so... goku also could sense that his spirit bomb could destroy namek as well

Namek has a different soil of earth it can be destroyed easier Dende said somthing about making vegtables plants or sometin like that

i remember gohan asking what frieza had just done, and krillin said "he cut th planet in two" or something along those lines

Don't trust everything the dubbed version of Dragonball says.
The martians actually had powerlevels of Eleventy Billion.
And I haven't seen the scenes from the Freeza saga in awhile (never liked the Freeza saga), so I can't really answer this question. :(

no. the martians have a power level of 2 billion 6 hundred and eleventy-eleven. they do NOT know all and see all. They know LOTS, see LOTS and destroy LOTS, and that's final. Besides hpw would you's know. You's never made them up....
