EVA's Fly Me To The Moon - Yui Version?

Hey there!

I was watching episode 26 of EVA with a friend a while back, and he pointed out that the version of 'Fly Me To The Moon' at the end of that episode was the 'Yui Version'. Sounded pretty similar to the Rei one... Is there a Yui version, or is it all in our imagination? If so, what soundtrack is it on?

i have no clue whatso ever. i only heard 3 versions of it, but im not sure if theres a yui version, cause well she wasnt in the show, except for that 1 episode. origin of seele i think. i cant remember so well, but ill try and watch and listen and if it does ound like yui then ill tell ya.

Well, since Megumi What's-Her-Face (Or Megumi Haiyapitchedsqueaking, as a good friend of mine used to say) played both Yui AND Rei in the Japanese version, it'll be hard to tell. Good thing ADV don't dub their songs... although I DO wonder how Kim Sevier and Tiffany Grant would sound singing Fly Me To The Moon... :lol:

i never watched the english dubbed before. i only watched the jap sub. :D its hayabashara or something :heh: oh well and your right when i heard yui talk, i was like is that reis voice !? well maybe the yui ver is the rei ver. or maybe its just at a differ beat and song. oh well. i gotta see.

For some reason i'm hooked on the "special" version at the end of Evangelion Refrain. Its a totally freaky live vesion that just generally sounds weird. I'm totally hooked on Eva music at the moment. I've got it on c.d.s and i'm basically walking around with a walkman playing them 24:7. I freaked out one of my friends when he picked up an earphone to hear the Radio Drama however ^_^

Yeah, I made a lovely compilation CD of my favourite tracks... I'm hooked on EVA music too. In fact, I never, EVER listen to anything else... except the Lupin III theme. :p

I've got a couple eva cd's. I have death and addition. addition is awesome 'cause it has the directors edit of the cruel angels thesis, with a second part that has new lyrics! does anyone know where i can get a translation of the 2nd part?
