"I'm home" "Welcome home" (EoE SPOILERS!)

Mein Gott, I can't think of a time when I felt so chilled, when a greater shiver travelled down my spine, as a result of fiction... except perhaps when the EVA Series turned into the tree of life.
Remember when Rei floats up to Lilith in EoE and says "I'm home", and Lilith replies in a screen flash "Welcome home". I mean, I know that Rei is returning to Lilith, but... by God, was it creepy. Especially as it was what Shinji and Misato used to say to each other... *shivers*.

(Wasn't EoE the BEST movie you've ever seen, EVER? I thought it was.)

Favourite series: Eva, fave film EoE.

The most shocking bit I thought was Asuka's horrific scream as her eye gets put out and the subsequent pin cushioning of her Eva. Very dramatic!

Well, not gonna comment on where this belongs, even if it's currently in Chit Chat Eva Forum.
But anyways, favorite series: Ranma 1/2
favorite movie: Uruseri Yatsura Movie 2: Beautiful Dreamer
Of course, I'm highly biased towards Rumiko Takahashi's work, so that might help.
But the Eva series and movies were definately great.

i thought that the most shocking scene was when shinji screemed really loud after he saw eva-02 all torn up and eaten.
