Help me!!

I want to start watching this anime but I dont know where to start....could someone tell me in what order to buy the DVD's.....I know there is a tv series and a couple of OVA's but I want to make sure I watch them in order....please help me!!!

watch the tv series first or at least up to the end of the shishio saga, then watch the ova, but this is my opinion, you can watch whatever you which.

hrm ... IMO you shouldn't go THAT far into the series (kyoto arc ends around episode 60-something for goodness sake!) in order to appreciate the OAVs. I had only seen a dozen or so episodes or the tv series to "wet my feet." After watching the OAVS BEFORE watching the kyoto arc, everything made a lot more sense to me. Characters, storyline, etc etc.

But that's just me. :)

so I should buy which Rurouni Kenshin DVD's before watching Samurai X? And r all of the dvd's even out yet? Doesnt seem like it....especially if theres 90 eps

no the tv series dvds are not all out yet. Disc 8 was just announced. They're only through just over 1/3 into the series.

What I personally would do is buy the first 2 or 3 dvds to get to know the main characters. Then, if you wish, go watch the OAVs. :)

There's also a movie being released this summer I think, and I read somewhere that you should finish seeing the Kyoto Arc before watching the movie. I've done that already, so I'm not worried. But I don't know if that is good advice or not ... :D

Only 4 DVDs are in shops though, so they're not even near the Kyoto Arc, thats disc 7 (I think)
