And you wonder why Cartoon Network wants to edit some shows. You all ask why do they cut it, and then when they show something, it becomes bad? I don't understand, why do people think like this. If they don't have it, it must be good, when they have it and aren't satisfied, it then becomes bad.

this is the way I look at it. If It weren 't for Toonami, there is a really good chance I wouldn't have seen these at all. Tapes cost about 20 bucks each, (if you get them at a store) and I don't feel like getting a job. If they want to say darn/loser instead of damn/-------, I can deal with it. (but they made Tenchi kinda of crappy with the editing)

it's not just outlaw star they've been slack on...I was watching Sailor Moon a few weeks ago and they forgot to drew a bikini on one of the "enemy chicks" and she went out with...shall we say, both barrels showing...
and going back to outlaw star, in the episode where gene dresses like a girl, look closely at the other ctarl ctarl, not aisha, and they forgot to edit her, too.

A while back toonami ran the Gundam Wing series uncut during their Midnight Run. Still not a lot of swearing, but they put all of the blood and light cursing back in. Outlaw Star is still edited at midnight though... (Damn!)

I swear to god every time something cool comes out....either the network or the critics have to go and freaking ruin it by saying its either not acceptable for kids or its for a younger croud....THE DAMN KIDS HAVE ABOUT 80 MILLION STUPID A** CARTOONS THEY CAN WATCH FROM POKEGAYMON TO POWER RANGERS....WHEN DO WE GET A BREAK......

Let me tell ya somethin man.....even though toonami bastardizes a lot of the anime they show I still enjoy watching it...and I hope to continue enjoying it....hopefully the network wont get all uptight and say its not acceptible....

I watched some outlaw star on c/n. they edit it to crap. I got the second tape (was gonna grab the first, but I grabbed the second not realizing it.). As a ground rule (had it for a while) I am the only person that watches my anime the first time around. I watched this and was laughing like hell. CN stuff is crap and that's that. I didn't really watch it after that. Good show, but the edits make it SUCK! BTW, according to one of my friends, since Japan has become more open to sexuality on TV and movies and games and etc, their sex crimes rates have went down. I don't know if that's true (I don't think it is), but if it is, we anal retentive americans need to take a lesson.
