Flame of Recca - More?

I just got the whole series sent to me by a friend and its one of the best Animes I've seen in ges, my only question is is there any more on the way, Episode 42 seemed very open ended and even set itself up for more...

Um...I'm not a big fan of Flame of Recca at all, although I know it is very popular among some. It does indeed blatantly leave itself open for a second series, but at the moment, there isn't one. The manga is still continuing atm tho.

well, Flame of Recca is relatively ok, animation is not that good, story is nice - just stay away from the dubbed though!

What language. . .since I believe that it has yet to be picked up for commercial release (just lots of fansubs for me).

well, they showed a dub on this AXN channel some time ago...
dubbed in english, i've also seen a dubbed in Pilipino (Natl language of the Philippines)...

What's wrong with Flame of Recca? I think it is just dandy! The Japanese history becoming alive in modern day. Lots of cool info about ninja's and clans. It could be more believable but still not that bad of a series. I heard they are coming out with a second season of Flame of Recca. I really would like to see more of this series.

Yeah...no gripe with the start of the series...lots of cool info about ninjas etc in the first 12 or so eps...and then it takes a sharp downwards turn and just becomes a fight-per-episode-in-the-same-place-with crappy-animation series ^_^;

and the ending is kind'a lacking, even leaves you wondering if there is gonna be a second series - the fight with Kurei isnt over yet!

so who did the last dragon side with? -another question w/c remains unsolved

Yeah the tournament was a bit of a letdown.. but its over so now hopefully it can get back to its grass roots, it also began to lose a bit of its humour, there were some funny moments in the earlier eps
