Many of the forums and threads haven't been updated since 2006. So, I can't see at a glance that "06" (or "05" or "07" or "08") refers to the year, and not the month or the day.

Would it really hurt anything to change it to "dd-mm-yyyy"? (or "mm-dd-yyyy")
