sometimes I Feel This way:
Through the Eyes of Rei Ayanami

A life, a real life is all I wanted but now,
after everything,
I wish to abandon the life I've been given.
I am Rei Ayanami, yet Rei Ayanami is a false identity and a fake soul.
She is a hollow shell created by a man named Gendo Ikari
In hopes of recreating the perfect being.
He is using me, but I no longer care,
For now I must remain in existence,
And for now I shall wait for the day he abandons me,
The day he lets me return to nothing.
I have no right to stand among others and deceive them,
Making them believe I am as human as they are.
sometimes I want to die, sometimes I want to disappear.
It's not my fault I exist,
It's not my fault I failed.
I can only do what I'm told to do,
I am his doll and shall be forever.
I am Rei Ayamami.
