Gundam Double Zeta mecha
Wow, what an update. The Double Zeta Gundam is amazing. It's simply so huge and well-armed that it's capable of taking on suits way ahead of it's time. The power output is simply incredible for its day. Head over to the Gundam Project and check it out.
Also available are 3 versions of the newtype suit Qubeley, as well as the "Zeta Zaku", an interesting Gundam joke.
MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam
MSZ-006 Z Gundam
AMX-004 Qubeley
AMX-004-2 Qubeley Mark II
AMX-004-3 Qubeley Mark II
Previews:
Just look at the size comparison of the ZZ to the Zeta. The Nu Gundam is bigger than any of them.

No, they are two completely different mobile suits. Same model line (MSZ series), but the ZZ isn't built off the Zeta base frame.

If the ZZ isn't Zeta's upgrade, does Zeta have an upgraded model anyways?

Not really. In Char's Counterattack, they're about to mass produce the Zeta Gundam in the RGZ-91 Re-GZ (Refined Gundam Zeta).
The Double Zeta actually had some upgrades. It became the MSZ-010S Enhanced Double Zeta, then the FA-010S Full Armor Enhanced ZZ Gundam, which was equipped with extra weaponry and ejectable armor.
You can see all these mecha on my webpage.
You have to understand, Universal Century Gundam isn't like Wing. The cost to rehaul and refit a new mobile suit is probably more than to build a new mobile suit. So rather than upgrade an existing design, they'll just make a newer and better mobile suit that includes the most recent developments in technology.
Minor battle repairs will be fixed, even entire limbs if need be. Field upgrades like magnetically coating the joints will be done, as well as adding internal systems. But nothing as drastic as what was done to the Deathscythe and Shenlong in Gundam W.
The best you'll see is taking an already existing design (Zeta Gundam), and making something new based on it (Re-GZ). The Zaku II survives quite a while using this method of redesign.
