The snake barron is an apostle converted by use of the behelit. Who did he sacrifice, where did he come from no one knows.

Yeah, he's an Apostole of the God Hand, meaning he used the Behelit kinda like how Griffith did, but had a "smaller" destiny given to him. As Petezilla said, more details aren't given of him, as he was a fairly minor character.

I recommend you get the manga if you want to make any sense of the plot btw, the anime doesn't even compare to it imho.

Well, currently there are three ways to get it.

1. Get it directly from Japan and translate it by hand from online translations unless you can read japanese (the great and wise Animeboards rules expect you to do this).

2. I heard from somewhere that it's been translated and sold in... It think it was in italian and maybe some other languages, but not english.

3. Get it from an online scanlating group. It's forbidden to discuss this kind of stuff here, but feel free to drop me an email via the mail button in the top of this post if you're intrested.

I recommend 3, but am going to go for 1. when I get some more money. The manga is so awesome that it's worth the 150€ or so it costs to get shipped from Japan to Finland and translate it by hand. For me anyway, I don't know if you're insane enough for it yourself.

Or option 4 wait for Dark Horse comics to translate the manga since they licensed it.

I think I might drop you an email soon Alesil if you don't mind.

Note on option 4

Dark Horse may be the Best company out there doing translations but its by far the slowest...

Dont expect anything for a long time...

The Berserk manga isn't exactly being made very fast either so hopefully Dark Horse will catch up in 5 or so years.

So they are very good with their translations, what other mangas have Dark Horse done?
