Sousei no Aquarion

Has anyone seen this series? I've watched the first 4 episodes digisubbed, and I have to say that I like it.

It's your typical mecha with pseudo-religious sybology built into the plot in the spirit of Evangelion, however the title mecha is formed by 3 neat looking flying units that combine together into 3 different designed forms of the mech, depending on which unit forms the head, shoulders and arms.

There's also the fact that when the units combine, the pilots experience a unicfication of their spirits as well as... *ahem* sexual release. ^_^;;;

All in all, so far it has proven to be quite amusing and I'm really looking forward to how it turns out. The OP theme is pretty good too.

I don't know. The series only started just over a month ago and hasn't even been licensed yet.

Squall Leonhart in response to your post "aquarian age" and "sousei no aquarion" are two different anime titles. As far as I know "aquarion age" was produced a few years ago, while "sousei no aquarion" is currently being produced in japan.

(back to topic) I have watched the first five episodes so far and have found it to be quite good. Of the combined mecha forms, my favourite is Solar Aquarion.

I can't wait to see how the story goes from here.
