WTF kind of ghey ending is that!?
What a load of B/S. Screw you anime writers. Bunch of lazy jerks. Goddamnit. Y'all are bastards. Im begining to lose count of the number of anime and sci-fi Im seeing lately where the end is some ambigous or non-closure p.o.s. Is this the result of a jaded culture? Or a "diversity is good" society that doesnt wanna lock the viewer into 1 specific story and ending?
I cry no fair !!!
Yay for Ranma, Tenchi Muyo and Futakoi.
Oops, sorry if I just spoiled it for some ppl.

Heh, now I hope you can see that I wasn't overexaggerating the utter hatred I had for the ending. I shall speak no more of that nonsense.
Futakoi Alternative ep 2. Took a while, but finally watched it. And yep, definitely enjoyed it. Slowed down alot, but got some decent character development, backstory, and alot of comedy instead. I'm lovin' it.

Melody of Oblivion
Battlestar Galactica Mini-Series (Not anime)
Futakoi
Air
uhmm, Im sure there's more. But those are the series I seen end in the last 2 or 3 months that had this kind of b/s ending. Lazy jerks.

The more I watch it,the more I wonder why they bothered to call it Futakoi alternative. It has nothing to do with the original and even the 2 characters from the first season are completely different.Soujyu is no longer sick and doesn't draw and Sara is sociable.

I just assumed it's "alternative" because it's, well, an alternative telling. Same characters roots (sorta), excluding that damn Nozomu, in a (completely) different setting.
I think that's as simple as I can convey it.

Think about it this way.Imagine I create a series called Neon Genesis Evangelion Alternative featuring a heroic strong-minded Shinji who travels with his fun-loving father and shy childhood friend Asuka. What would be your reaction?

That's just wrong, man.
But you can't even begin to compare, the original futakoi was light to begin with, and so is alternative, so being light, the change can be grasped.
But when you take a heavy theme series and put it into a light theme, that shock will be felt.

I caught episode one of Futakoi Alternative. The start where the two twins were battling against that white octopus like creature .. was it me or was it hinting something *cough tentacle hentai cough* .. and well what did that have to do with the episode? Anyway the rest of the episode, stupid and nonsensical, I just don't understand and I don't think I'll be continuing with the series.

Well well. Somebody hasnt seen "Kimi ga nozomu eien" and its sequel: "KGNE Gaiden" (I cant remember its exact name, kgne obviously being kimigaetcetc).
Man, that sequel blew me away. My heart was all sad and stuff from kgne, and I saw that and I saw the redhead girl. My heart broke.
Seconds later there's a guy dreaming of flying a giant mecha everywhere and being her hero. I was like "uh..WTF was that!? Wheres my drama? This is too funny!!!"

Well,
I've seen the "original" (cough cough) 13 episodes, and am wondering if there will be a sequel... It seems pretty much primed for this, but only if the original was popular enough to milk for more episodes. But, then again, I probably would be dissapointed with whatever they did with it...
Now to see the alternative...
