How could you not know what it's about when you just finished watching it?

Well if that were the case then understanding Evangelion would be a snap after the first watching. ... some shows just defy intuitive comprehension ...

Question:

Have you watched Stanley Kubrick's "2001 A Space Odyssey"

If so, tell me what the definitive meaning of the movie and its end.

If not, watch it sometime and tell me what it means.

... and if it helps, watch it multiple times ...

We humans are all at least a little different in how we think ... and because of this, some problems are either harder or easier for the individual than the "normal" expectation ... now if you throw this "problem" out to a group of people ... odds are at least one will have a solution (or at least opinion) ... in addition to your own ... and of course ... what better place to ask an anime/manga/computer/? question than a forum like AB?

Man, Space Odyssey was way better as a book. Kubrick lost his direction in the second half and just got caught up in the visuals and didn't bother explaining what was happening to Bowman.

Anyway, I have not seen or even heard of Spiral. I am interested in hearing more about it.

My point exactly!

To interpret the movie is like asking someone to sit in the corner ... in a circular room ...

... but I digress ... back to the topic at hand ... namely Spiral ... actually I am going to look it up and see if I can get my hands on it.

It's not too bad of a series. It's focused on following one character (Ayumu) as he searches for what happened to his brother (Kiyotaka), a brilliant detective and world-renowned pianist. Kiyotaka disappeared mysteriously one day, saying he was searching for the Blade Children. Two years later, murders are happening, and the Blade Children are somehow involved. Ayumu's got Kiyotaka's detective skills, so he decides to track down his brother and the Blade Children, solving the murders along the way. Somewhere, he collects a fangirl, a school journalist named Hiyono, who happens to have tons of information on everyone.

Like I said, it's not too bad of a series, but I have heard that they don't really explain anything by the end of the series. I've seen half of it, but I don't know if I'm going to watch more.
