443: Naraku's Dissapearance

Pretty good chapter, and it has me excited for the next weeks as well. Naraku is still inside of Mouryoumaru, but I'm expecting him to take over in the coming chapters. I'm beginning to think that Naraku's plan is actually to let Mouryoumaru acquire all of the Shikon Jewel shards. He'll wait until its fully absorbed into his body so that Kikyo won't be able to enact her plan, then he'll absorb Mouryoumaru and take over...which will result in much badassedness since he'll become a full Youkai AND have absorbed the Mouryoumaru body.

But enough of those theories, the real cool thing in this chapter was Mouryoumaru's new Kongousouha spears of Miasma. He was able to both pierce through AND melt a mountain. Kouga's Goraishi was unable to deflect these spears, and InuYasha's Kongousouha did nothing to Mouryoumaru.

So now Kouga and InuYasha have tried out a little game of decoy, but Inu couldn't see the Youketsu's. Is this Akago using the Fouyouheki to mask his Youki again?

And what of Kouga and Kohaku. Now Mouryoumaru has all the shards, and he's almost complete. Could this spell doom for Kouga or Kohaku in the next chapter? Certainly Kouga could perhaps make it out alive after losing his shards, but Kohaku will lose his life if his shard is taken.

I agree it was a good chapter and Mouryoumaru's kongoshoa was awesome. Yeah Naraku is still alive becasue he was defeated so easily. Now would be a good time to absorb Mouryoumaru with Kazaanna, the shards, naraku and all.

^Except they don't want to absorb the shards into Kazaana. In fact, possession on Jewel Shards has stopped Miroku from using the Kazaana on Youkai in the past.

Based off of inu-yasha.org, im prediction two things will happen soon.
1. Kouga uses his get out of Midorokos will card.
2.Kagome gets Sesshoumaru, and Saves Kohaku.

I'm thinking of her going to Sesshomaru as well. But I don't know, Takahashi may try to surprise us with something.

The Ear Tweak Forum people are discussing this chapter, because some of them get access to Shounen Sunday as well. The tidbits they've released so far is that InuYasha apparently 'realizes' something at the end of the chapter, which paves the way for what I guess is a new move to perform. The Shounen Sunday has a description saying that next issue will be as special color issue or something, and that InuYasha unleashes some new attack.

I wonder if Sesshomaru is going to come from nowhere and blast off Mouryoumaru with his meidou-zangetsuha. By the way, do you think Mouryoumaru will have a chance to survive Sesshomaru's new technique?

Right now, it's very predictable that Naraku will absorb Akago from inside of Mouryoumaru. You know, the Youmeiuju gave him superior powers to pierce trough barriers.

444: Uphill (Desperate) Battle

So the Fuyouheki has grown in strength as well, so InuYasha cannot see the Youketsu, and none of their attacks seem to work. So basically they get beat up in this chapter, and eventually Kouga freezes up and Mouryoumaru grabs both Kouga and InuYasha.

Hmmm...my theory about Kagome going to get Sesshomaru may be a little off now; now that I've read the chapter script it sounds like Kagome is flying back towards InuYasha with something in mind.

The interesting thing is that InuYasha tells Kouga that there is still a way, and it involves both of them working together.

Now, to me, this means that InuYasha is going to summon the Fire Power that he's never used since DS Tetsusaiga absorbed Kinka (or was it Ginka). Then he's going to mix it with the Goraishi's Lightning, which will cause the same effect that Kinka and Ginka had going when they were hurting Mouryoumaru. Of course, for Kouga to move and participate in this, he may have to use his one 'get out of Midoriko's will' card.

It may be the Fire DS Tessaiga OR DS Tessaiga's True from. Remember when that Dia-youkai-Wizard showed Inuyasha the Yoketsu, he said that DS Tessaiga had another form.

Can't wait for the next one, but I do hope that Sesshoumaru shows up, so that every "main" character is there at once. Also If Mourryoumaru gets the last shard and Naraku does absorb him from the Inside then He will have the whole jewel, the armoured shell, and no outside weakness.

About tyhe Medou-Zangetsuha, I still think that something very important must happen to Sesshoumaru, if he is to master it. I wonder if his poison will have and effect on the shell? Maybe.

I'm still thinking its the Fire DS Tetsusaiga, and this is why: The Wizard/hermit never told InuYasha about the DS Tetsusaiga's true form, he only said it in his thoughts, to himself and to the readers. InuYasha doesn't know, so unless some really crazy Jedi Precognition *hit is going on here, I don't know how InuYasha could suddenly go, "hey Kouga, we still have a chance, watch me pull this awesome new attack out of my ass!"

While that would be somewhat hilarious, the fact that InuYasha seems to imply that Kouga has to help him with the attack seems to foreshadow the use of the Fire Tetsusaiga.

After all, Inuyasha never tried to destroy Mouryoumaru's armored shell with his bakuryuuha. Come on, combining the Bakuryuuha+Kagome's arrow+Kouga's lightning= Ubber pawnage technique. Then Sesshomaru will come from nowhere and said something about Mouryoumaru's pathetic powers, then he will destroy the armored shell with his Meidou Zangetsuha.

However, we still have to see the TRUE form of the DS Tessaiga. I wonder if this TRUE form has something to do with Inuyasha's Bakuryuuha or other techniques.

First of all, Bakuryuuha is only as powerful as the attack that it counters. Unless Mouryoumaru uses a Youki blast against InuYasha, he can't use the Bakuryuuha to begin with. The Bakuryuuha didn't even phase Naraku's barrier, so I doubt it would work on the Armored Shell, let alone the Armored Shell with a near complete Shikon Jewel boosting it. Secondly, he's telling Kouga that he requires his cooperation. If it was the Bakuryuuha he wouldn't need Kouga's help.

But have you forgotten; the reason Ginka's body and the Fire Tetsusaiga worked was because it combined Fire and Lightning to seep through the armor and attack the baby at the core. Even if Ginka's body was dumped, InuYasha has the Fire Tetsusaiga...hmmm...now where can he find some lightning? Well, he's asking Kouga for assistance, so you see why I've developed this theory. Anyways, new chapter preview will probably be up tomorrow, so we'll see what happens.

I doubt it will involve Bakuryuuha. A lot of people are theorizing that it will be a Kaze no Kizu-type attack that specifically works to destroy all of the Youketsu at once.

On a side note, at the time of this writing the new scan is up at Ear Tweak, but in order to get there you have to type the URL in manually (replacing 443 with 444). The fact that it is up means that Kuro will probably have it officially posted sometime soon.

Chapter preview is up. Looks like neither of us was right; InuYasha instead had Kouga fire the Goraishi and then InuYasha absorbed the Lightning with DS Tetsusaiga to make it stronger. Then he attacked the area with the tentacles, believing that there must a hole there that would lead to Akago. Apparently he was correct. I'll say more when Kuro has the chapter up.

Right. By the way this other site where we get the short summeries befor ear-tweak, and wot-club, is www.inu-yasha.org, they update when the japanese manga comes, on Tuesdays usually.

Good job with the "manually typing in 444 in the url bar Robotech Master, I didn't think that anyone elde here knew to do that.

So Instead of the Yokoetsu he uses the Tessaiga with the absorbed Gorashi, cool.

Man, Tessaiga has really gotten powerful recently, and Inuyasha has learned how to fight AND use his head. Kinda makes the Toukijin look like a second rate weapon now.

By the way where is Inu_Freak? She should be around when we are talking about Sesshoumaru AND Naraku...just kidding Inu_Freak.

Are you talking about Chapter 445? Yeah, I've already read the chapter 444. You know, it's not the first time that we had to type the chapter number to enter into the correct place. However, Kuro was bussy so she didn't have time to upload the chapters. I wonder if she already have the scanlations of chapter 445...

Ya, Inuyasha has learned to use his head. At the beggining he just went "Bastard!! Feel the power of my ubber-sword!! Kaze-no-kizu!!!". Perhaps it was thanks to his character development. Too bad that Koungousouha wasn't used a lot, it's a shame because it's a really cool technique. It was just the technique that had the power to pierce trough Naraku's ultimate barrier, it became useless like the Red-Tessaiga and Kaze no Kizu.
