Heard a rumor...
I heard a rumor about new episodes of Outlaw Star being made....any one else heard otherwise?

YEa there are no new episodes being made right now but are they making a Outlaw Star 2?

Japan isn't commonly in the business of making sequels and prequels to anime titles. More often, we'll see OVAs and the like.

Also, I must add that the series ended in 1998 and there has been nothing new since then.

Seriously. The closest thing to a sequel would be a remake. Like Dirty Pair Flash or Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040.

I hear that a mexican animation company is making a new series...it's popular there..but it won't be called Outlaw Star.

I believe there was a sequel manga series, but it's doubtful that it will ever become animated due to the anime's unpopularity in Japan. I think it's funny that it was so well received in the US. Personally, it's one of my top shows, although it's also the second anime I ever saw, so I'm probably a bit nostalgic.

haven't heard it.
I haven't heard it. But i like Bishop words. I guess the Outlaw Star maybe talks about some stars'outlaw behaviors,some like the rumors written by journalists or entertainment newspapers.
