Toonami has 6 shows to add to its schedule this year, as well as new movies to add to its friday showing. It is rumored that CN will boot out Thundercats and Silverhawks to make room for an extra hour of Toonami time. One of the shows for 2001 has already been shown, and that was Outlaw Star. The next Five shows, 4 of which are anime and one of which is American, are:
1) JLA (Justice League of America. One-hour show: American)
2) Mobile Suit Gundam (original)
3) Big 0
4) Pilote Candidate (better known as Candidate for Goddess)
5) Gundam 8's.

hmmmm...another reason why im not gonna watch toonami. and why cant they get variety instead gundam. they should call it the gundam block instead.

Well at least you guys have some anime on CN over there. Here in Asia, CN just shows the old shows and no anime!!! If you count akazukin cha cha an anime show then there is one. Plus, I dont watch it so go figure.

Don't forget the Dragonball Z Buu Saga airing in the summer in the States and the original Dragonball! Also new Dexter's Lab!

enough of the bleedin' gundam on TV. i like the series Gundam 8 (the only one i've seen 90% of) , but it'll be blocks of nothing but Gundam 8, Gundam W, and the original Gundam .... blah..

FUNimation bought the rights to Yu Yu Hakusho. That doesn't necessarily mean CN is gonna show it...they probably haven't even started the dubbing or cutting yet.

It won't be "nothing but Mech shows" because Gundam Wing was taken off the line-up (at least in America is was). Mobile Suit Gundam and Gundam 8 will be shown at different times.
