Arrow News - Gundam Project updates with more G Gundam mecha

Another Mobile Fighter G Gundam update over at Gundam Project. We have the some of the most powerful mecha ever seen in Gundam this time around. First is Neo-Japan's God Gundam, which is arguably the number 3 strongest mecha. It can go to hyper mode and boost its power by an additional 75% or so, and the special attack, "bakanetsu god finger" can go through any mobile suit and detonate with the command "heat end" which will completely obliberate the mobile suit. Second is the very unique Nodel Gundam from Neo-Sweden. Yes, we all know what it looks like. But in "berserker mode" the thing is incredibly evil and even a challenge for the God Gundam. Finally is the odd-looking but insanely powerful Devil Gundam. The Devil Gundam can regenerate itself, automatically upgrade itself as it sees fit, and multiply itself by taking over mobile suits and even humans with a virus called "DG Virus" that spreads DG Cells. Devil Gundam might be number 2 on the list, 2nd to only the Turn A Gundam.

GF13-050NSW Nobel Gundam

Well, the list goes as follows:

1. Ideon
2. Gunbuster
3. Evangelions (depends on AT-Field use)
4. super robots (Mazinger, Getta Robo, Daitan 3, etc)
5. Aura Battlers (Dunbine)
6. Goddesses (Candidate for Goddess)
7. L-Gaim
8. mobile suits (Gundam)
9. veritech fighters (Macross)
10. Aestivalis (Nadesico)

Ideon has enough power to destroy the galaxy destroy Earth, et cetera. Gunbuster can cut through thousands of enemy battleships with a single attack. Evangelions are only powerful because of their AT-Fields. Take that way and they drop to below mobile suits. Super robots are comprised of Mazinger Z, Getta Robo, Combattler V, Voltes V, et cetera. Aura Battlers can defeat SOME super robots, but not all. Goddess have the ability to stop time and move at speeds in which they become invisible. L-Gaim is simply more powerful than Gundam in most cases.

Now, I averaged the power of all Gundam technology. G Gundams are half super/half real robots. G Gundam would be around Aura Battler power, maybe more or less depending on the Gundam Fighter. Technically, Turn A Gundam could trash everything here simply because of the Moonlight Butterfly system. But again, it's a complete series average. Veritechs are less powerful than mobile suits, and Aestivalis' are less powerful then Veritechs.

Let me know if you think of a series that fits somewhere in the middle of all this.

Oh good, more G-Gundam. I'll think I'll finbally be satisfied when I can find some Allenby fanart on the web. Then I'll know it has finally achieved the recognition it deserves. BTW, I know this is off topic, but why are Veritechs more powerful than Aestivalises? I confess my ignorance with the actual statistics, but I don't recall Veritechs having the power to blast through an enemy battleship.

Damn I haven't been to that site in so long, it seems they got new stuff there I may go take a look.

Whoa, that Nobel Gundam is pretty cool looking. I really wanna see Gundam G but I don't have access to it. Hmm can anyone tell me if anyone is gonna release it here in the states or if it seems likely to be?

Hmm more mechs, I'm 'newschool' so I haven't seen them older series so I can't really contribute. Hmm how bout mechs from Xenogears, ya ever play that PS game? Well the mechs aren't that powerful but they are the only ones that can make it up on the list. Xenogears can take on that one from Nadesico.

Oops, I may have read that wrong. It seems mechs from anime series not games.

El^Presidente, that's the Nobel Gundam. Don't make fun of it, it really kicks ass.

Westlo, I'm trying to decode whatever little English skills you have. Anyway, I've explained why each mecha is on that list. The Turn A Gundam's Moonlight System is a bit of a mystery to everyone. However, if you watch Turn A Gundam, all technology on Earth is gone. The people live is a Victorian era-type culture with World War I aircraft and such. This sudden loss of technology is because if the Turn A Gundam. The Moonlight System is a product of nanotechnology (a possible field of science, just not completely useful yet in this day and age) that can send of nanomachines that literally disassemble all technology. Nanomachines are microscopic robots that have a certain task and work together to perform that task. Anything from repairing the internals of a hospital patient to building certain items on command. In the Turn A Gundam nanotechlogy serves the function of repair and disrepair. Repairing the Turn A itself and taking apart piece by piece all technology.

That, plus Turn A's beam rifle is incredibly powerful, I've seen it burn the damn thing out it can push so much output through the barrel.

i didn't no there was one veritech

i asked for the indidviddual mechs such as god gundam, devil gundam and so on not a series average such as gundams, veritechs, super robots

easy enough i would think

clearly god gundam is more powerful than wing zero
god gundam to shining gundam and so on

A listing of individual mechs would be interesting... From what LS said, it sounds like the Turn A would be #1 (so that's the moonlight butterfly system does!) with Ideon and Gunbuster at #2 and #3. Unless of course Turn A's nanomachines only work on metal, in which case it's questionable whether Evas' would be affected. Hell, I don't know. What say you, LS?

And I know it's a minor point, but what does Bakunestsu (as in Bakunetsu God Finger) mean?

1. Ideon
2. Gunbuster
3. Turn A Gundam
4. Evangelions
5. Mazin Kaiser
6. Great Mazinger
7. Mazinger Z
8. Shin Getta Robo
9. Getta Robo
10. Billvine

Pretty simple really, Gundam doesn't even get mentioned. I still put Turn A Gundam behind Gunbuster and Ideon simply because I'm not entirely sure if they could even get close to use the Moonlight Butterfly system. In any case, super robot always wins, with Billvine (an Aura Battler) being one of the few pure real robots.

Bakunetsu God Finger is Explosive God Finger.

If you want only mobile suit power, here it is:

1. Turn A Gundam
2. Devil Gundam
3. God Gundam
4. every other Gundam Fighter
5. Extraordinarily Superior Gundam
6. Penelope
7. Xi Gundam
8. FA-010A FAZZ
9. Gaia Gear Alpha
10. Victory 2 Buster-Assault

Unless you want to see nothing but Turn A Gundam and a list of G Fighters, deal with number 4 being, "every other Gundam Fighter." Everything else is pretty simple and up for arguement if you think something should either be higher or added/removed from the list.
