Is Ayeka All That Bad?

I want to know Your oppinions on Ayeka in The OAV mostly. I know that She was annoying in the New Tenchi TV series (Is this what Shin means) and In Tenchi Muyo TV, and The Voice actress isn't helping much. But Consider in The OAV that She helped in avenging Tenchi in The 6th OAV episode and that Tenchi actually enjoyed the time he had with her. At one point it seems that He likes her, (OAV ep 2&3 mostly). So she can't be all that Bad can She? *Starts to sweat* HAhu *nervous chuckle*
Ok I can't help Myself. My Oppinion Is that She Is The Worst. She Should Be Burnt To a crisp. She Does not deserve to live. I don't care what she did, She still needs to DIE. Ryoko would be happy with tenchi if Ayeka was not arround. I try to simpatise with her but I can't.

If there would not have been any Aeka, there wouldn't have been any Tenchi Muyo any way. I think it's the duality of Ryoko VS Aeka that makes the series so good. Give Aeka a break. She wants Tenchi just as bad as Ryoko does. Also, he is the Heir of the Jurai Royal Family, so she thinks Tenchi is her destiny...and she is somewhat right about this.

I'm a Ryoko supporter anyway. So go get him, girl!

I think the Aeka in the OVA is awesome. But most of the female characters in the OVA are awesome.

I think the Aeka in the Universe show is not as good. She seems to be more like a spoiled rich kid/princess that has frequent temper tantrums.

I think the Aeka in Shin/Tokyo is absolutely dreadful. But she has company since most of the other female characters weren't so hot either. No wonder why Tenchi became pre-occupied with Sakuya!

In my opinion, none of the characters were as "good" as they were in the OVA. That's not to say they weren't fun, but the original incarnations were ... well, original.

As far as the OVA is concerned, I like the character of Ayeka a lot. She's sympathetic, she's complex, she has emotional depth ... in short, she's a genuine character. To top it all off, she has positive qualities that Ryoko lacks, although some people would like to deny it! I deeply sympathize with her, and I don't want to see her get hurt.

That's my opinion. We'll see what Kajishima has in store.

Ryoko, when you are referring to Ayeka, you capitalize "she". Did you know that you only capitalize words like that when they refer to gods or godesses? You just said that Ayeka was a godess!

That wasn't my intention. It's jut that I always capitalise thr first letter on my typing. Guess I just forgot to make it lowercase after checking it, before posting it.

deadpepper, i disagree. I do not think Aeka wants tenchi as bad as ryoko. Aeka never really demonstrated that she would give her life to save tenchi, where ryoko did numerous times. Aeka seemed like she did want tenchi, but deep down she knew Ryoko was right for tenchi.

I tend to want proof of what people say. I know Ryoko is great and all, But Do you have any evidence that Ayeka has not Risked her life for tenchi? I'm taking a wild stab in the air by saying you are a Ryoko Fan. (Like me) but you are not basing your oppininon on facts. Who was the first person that attacked Kagato when everyone thought that tenchi was dead? (If you notice, it was Ayeka) After she knew she was nothing compared to Kagato who helped Ryoko out and used her force field to immovilize Kagato even though she knew it would not stop him and only make him go after her? Who then shot him with a beam of energy that she knew was futile and would only make him angryer?
In Manatsu No Eve Ayeka did not go to save Sasamiwith Tenchi, But She was hurt by Yuzuha and could not even stand up.
In TU who risked her life to Stop Kagato from Killing tenchi?
There are a lot more times when she risks her life for tenchi. You are just not paying too much attention to the series. Have you even seen all of the movies and projets?
BUT I still hate Ayeka. I just have to face the facts. And the Facts are that They Both Love tenchi equally.
IF she did not love techi in the OAV why did she seek revenge whe she only knew jim a very short time, and Why did she forget of her love for Yosho.
I'm not trying to be negative or anything, but I like facts.

I want Ryoko to get Tenchi, but i don't want Ayeka to be heart-broken either, I almost wish Ayeka just had a silly crush and could find someone else. But I know she really does love Tenchi, damn you cruel world!

HELL I think i am becoming an Ayeak fan. If I saw her on fire I would do everything I could to put her out. I'd even get Ryoko To help
