Tenchi Muyo question

Ok after watchin Tenchi Muyo ep 12 Zero Ryoko again i still dont know who she is? the big ghost like lady with that old guys head under neath her the one that talks to Dr Clay (sorry i cant find a pic of her) so anyway wats her role in Tenchi Muyo? or will that be told in the newer OVAs?

yeah Tokimi...searching for her godess sisters Tsunami and Washu..yada yada yada. Sent D3 (big head that talks to Dr.Clay "That bastard") suposedly the most powerful of the chousin (high Rank gods) Goddeses . Also a megami (lcan form light hawk wings. Megami are also the most powerfull beings ever. "Z" is her Avatar, Just Like Tenchi is Tsunami's Avatar and Ryoko is WAshu's avatar.
"Z" (does not have an official name as of yet. he is the shadow guy with the 5 light hawk wings) is in another dimmension waiting to be born. Yada Yada yada. the third OAV.
She is also the one who gave That Bastard Clay some of his technological powers..
If you want any more details just ask. I am hurrying because I am coloring in a drawing or Ryoko that I did on the computer. Wanna finish it ASAP.

She calls him bastard more times than she calls him Clay.
and the quotations are because that is exactly what WAshu has called him.

did all of washus goddess powers go into ryokos gems??? and if so dose that make ryoko a goddess????
its all so confusing, will it finish the story in the 3rd OAV do you think????

It is not 100% clear if it is Washu's powers that went in to the gems. some say it is but others say that it is all ofe her memories and such.
That does not Make Ryoko a Goddess as of yet but the potential is there. I like most people just call her our Goddess because she is so cool and perfect. The thing that will end in the 3rd OAV is the war of the Goddesses that has been going on but it will not be the end of the Tenchi Muyo story. just another segment of it.

Always a fanatic about facts of the Tenchiverses, I'd like Ryoko169's first post elaborated a bit.

I take it that the 'suposedly' part of the phrase:

Also the notition that a Goddess is not necessarily a Megami confuses me. I thought Megami was simply the japanese term for 'Goddess', but Ryoko169's post indicates a distinction related to the Lighthawk Wings. What exactly is this implied hierachy, and is it again pure speculation?

Then there is the Avatar issue. Fact or speculation?

If any of these are facts, I'd like to know the source.
Sorry if this has been answered in other threads or discussed several times over, but I am (quite obviously) new to this board.

Speculation and ambiguity is what Tenchi is all about. If Ryoko169 were here, I'm sure she would with you (as she has so often done with me) provide some source outside the OAV. Many purist (including myself) believe that when discussing Tenchi "facts" they should come from the OAV, but there is no harm in a little speculation, that's half the fun. Personally I wouldn't take anyone at there word save the creator and his upcoming OAV. From the only interview of his I have read, he mentions the trhee godesses and Z but doesn't go into any detail about there relationship, save that Z, in some way, belongs to Tokemi.
