Keiichi and Belldandy kissing moments

Hey everyone, I hope you all had fun during the AB downtime.

Ok, getting on topic...any A!MG reader knows that an actual kiss between Belldandy and Keiichi is RARE...you probably have a better chance of trying to call the Goddess Helpline and actually getting thru than seeing this. Anyways, what are your thoughts on this? Why doesn't it occur very often? Is it the nature of the characters to simply not have that physical aspect to their relationship? Is it Fujishima's way forcing us to cherish the moments that it actually occurs? What do ya'll think about it?

Ok, getting on topic...any A!MG reader knows that an actual kiss between Belldandy and Keiichi is RARE...you probably have a better chance of trying to call the Goddess Helpline and actually getting thru than seeing this. Anyways, what are your thoughts on this? I personally think its rather frustrating for the reader, but even more frustrating for Keiichi! The poor guy has had countless chances only to have it interupted by one thing or another.

Why doesn't it occur very often? Its just the way the story is told and the different situations that Keiichi and Bell-chan have to face. Also... thats they way Fujishima likes to do things.

Is it the nature of the characters to simply not have that physical aspect to their relationship? I think its more to show a point that you don't need to be physical in order to show, express, or even to know how much you love or are loved by your significant other.

Is it Fujishima's way forcing us to cherish the moments that it actually occurs? Fujishima isn't forcing anything. What hes doing is making those moments special for the characters themselves (and as a side affect, it makes us cherish those moments as well. )

What do ya'll think about it? I think I answered enough yea? I'll prolly be paying very close attention to this thread. And more points on how i think and feel about this!

Isn't it one of the main drives of the series?Seeing the time Belldandy and Keichii will finally fully express their love with a kiss? But it's more interesting and....makes the character more mature and closer to go through all these adventures.Wether Urd messes things up with strange chemicals,Skuld makes a room blow up with her invention or Megumi is in trouble again, all of the adventures they go through makes Belldandy's and Keichii's love stronger.

I think one could say it symbolizes the pursuit of love, wich isn't simply taken but fought for and defended.

I agree with you in the fact that it is frustrating to see two people so close but not having the physical bond. There are times where I can almost screaming at my Graphic Novel for Keiichi to make a friggin move! However, on the other hand I probably wouldn't like if it was more commonplace. I, as a reader, would soon dismiss a kiss as something that is second nature to the series and not as special as it would be now. I'm sure Keiichi has some kind of frustration. He is a guy after all and Belldandy is a Goddess. *hentai grin* At this point in the relationship, I believe that he is more than happy with what he has. After all, he has the undying love of a Goddess. Not too shabby, ey?

Yeah, this is what I was going for with the question. Maybe 'forced' wasn't the right word for what I meant to say. I think that he does not let them get intimate for a reason without a doubt, whether it be just an ongoing theme for the series or just his way of making sure the reader savors when it does occur.

Well, Belldandy and K1 have kissed before. The last time it occured was during "Miss Keiichi" or "The Devil in Miss Urd", I'm not too sure. But having the series lead up to one meaningful kiss that seals their love? That would be awesome to see! Of course, at the same time it would probably signal the end of the series and I do _NOT_ want to see that happen anytime soon.

The kiss symbolizes the pursuit or love or the actual lack of it symbolizes it?

Really though, they kiss, it takes all the heart out of the series right there. They are emtionally in love, but the experse it physically, that would just throw everything off track.
