Worse than the soul rotting synthesier garbage that replaced the magnificently epic original score of "DBZ" is the
completely inappropriate American score for "Cardcaptors."
The music of the original Card Captor Sakura is an whimsically adventurous, sometimes frightening, poetically heroic and magnificently wondorous piece of lyrical masterpiece by the hands of the mistress of anime music, MS Kano Yoko.
The "music" (a term I use with much reluctance) of Cardcaptors, however, is a dark, unfriendly, cynical excuse of noise that better fits a Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Director of "Ninja Scroll") horror movie than a heroic fantasy like CCS.
The criminal responsible for this atrocity no longer deserves to be qualified as a human being. Therefore, I hereby lable him with this title of inhumane disgrace: Mojo-Nator the Chimp.
The sounds that he created for
Cardcaptors is a kin to being played on a broken synthesiser by a stoned chimpanzee so busy mastrubating to Legend of the Overfiend that it only has one hand to furhter destory the already atrocious score.
I named this monster "Mojo-Nator" for such is his obsession with hentai that any score he "composes" (another grudginly used term) sounds like cheap 1970's porn music.
