Hitomi's Tarot Cards

I was browsing Esca sites today, and I linked onto an anime lyrics site, where I came across an Escaflowne song I had never heard of before, entitled Hitomi no Tarotto Uranai, or Hitomi's Tarot Reading. It's not on any of the four soundtracks, but is on the Yakusoku wa Iranai single, which I didn't even know existed. It's a rather short song, in which Hitomi sings about her tarot cards, and what they mean:

RA · ROOTA unmei no wa
KAADO no imi ha "unmeiteki na deai. hito mebore.
subete no mono ha meguri megutte iru." La Ruota. Wheel of Fortune.
The card means: a fateful encounter. Love at first sight.
It all goes around chance.

INPERATOORE koutei
imi ha "tayori ni naru dansei. toshi ga hanareta hito to no kekkon
sekkyokuteki ni nareba aite no kokoro o tsukamu koto ga dekiru." L'Imperatore. The Emperor.
It means: a man who you will come to rely on. Marriage to someone who has
left his city. If you become more pro-active, you will be able to seize his heart.

IRUPATTSO gusha
"hanayaka na miryoku. jiyuu na renai kan. ooku no ai o oikakeru hito." Il Pazzo. The Fool.
Dazzling charm. Romantic love, given freely. A person who chases after
alot of love.

RA · JUSUTITTSA seigi KAADO no muki ha gyaku
kono baai no imi ha "ippauteki na koi. koi no RAIBARU ga jutsugen
arasotte mo kuru." La Giustizia. Justice.
The card's face is reversed. [1] In this case, it
means a one-sided love. A love rival will appear and fight with you.

RA · KAROTTSA senja
"kyouryoku na RAIBARU ni uchikachi, koi ha kyuu tenkai. dengekiteki na kekkon." La Carrozza. The Chariot.
If you conquer a powerful rival, love will suddenly develop. A shocking marriage.

RA · RUUNA tsuki
"itsuwari no ai ni kizuki, hontou no ai o hakken." La Luna. The Moon.
You will be hurt by a false love, and discover true love.
RA · TORE houkai no tou

"AKUSHIDENTO ni mimawareru koi. yokisenu totsuzen no wakare. shitsuren." La Torre. The Falling Tower.
A love that is surrounded by accidents. A sudden, unexpected parting.
A broken heart.

SAAPENTO no EESU
"arata na shuppatsu. yuuki." Serpent Ace.
A fresh/new start (departure). Courage.

Okay, so there are the Romanji lyrics with the English translations underneath. Am I the only one who had never heard of this song, or the Yakusoku wa Iranai single?

Can you find the song anywherer in the series or is it a little extra???... damnation I hate when I don't KNOW everything about ESCA!

The site said it's on the Yakusoku wa Iranai CD single. I didn't even know there was a Yakusoku single! The only Esca single I know of is the Yubiwa/Vector one.

Nope, no one's fooling. The songs on this single are: "Promises Not Necessary," "My Best Friend," the original karaoke for "Promises No Necessary," and a bonus track "Hitomi's Tarot Reading" which is an adaptation of the tarot reading on herself from the first episode. The single's cover depicts--on a black background--Millerna, Moleman, Hitomi, Van, Merle, and Allen.

Byyyyy the way, there's another rare little single for the series too! It's called Mystic Eyes. The track on it are: "Mystic Eyes," some song called "Call," the karaoke for "Mystic Eyes," and the karaoke for "Call." The cover depicts Hiroki Wada, the guy who sings those songs.

There's also a drama album for the series called "Thoughts of Jeture." The cover depicts Hitomi and Millerna. Then of course there's the two drama CDs, which you probably knew about, for the movie.
