My mischievous lil' boy

Its been a while since I posted somethin' in here. This one is something of a rough pencil of my RPG chara Kesegowaase Shoemowetochawcawewahcatowe (say that five times fast) and his crow Mukki.

The shading is so-so (just how many light sources did i use anyway??) since I was just having fun with the pose itself, and i just kinda tossed the crow in at the last minute because they just go together. It shows, i know, but i think this piccie came out cute and captures the spirit o' Kese.

As always C&C is welcome, but i dunno if i'll actually fiddle with this sketch much more.

Nice shadings!

I think you placed Kesegowaase 's nose too high on his face, try to lower that a bit.
Further about the guy who's chasing him, I find his fist weird..........kinda look like it levitating in the air!
Other than that, good job, keep it up!!!!

I love the mood you've succesfully created; it looks like a mischievous lil' boy, and you've made it funny-ish. I agree with Evangelion-00 concerning his critizism - the nose's placed slightly too high, and I haven't seen a floating hand before. I hope you keep up the good work.

I lowered the boy's nose, since that was an easy fix, but i actually drew the guy's hands like that on purpose because: (a) i was lazy, (b) i started off drawing him in a simple less detailed style (c) i was lazy.

Neato Kayay...I like the perspective and the fact that something is actually happening in the picture (like a panel in a manga). Most art in this forum seems comprised of boring 'ol static poses (yes, I know that applies to my stuff too)

Kese's fist should be bigger (make it extra big for that dose of foreshortening) and perhaps if the arm were bent towards his chest a bit, the run would look a little more natural...neat crow though...crows and ravens are cooool ('cept when they are cawing into one's window at 6am)
