Bianca Louvre

Welps, my very first CG in MONTHS.... so how long has it been since I last posted anything? scratching head* well, this was done from scratch using painter 7... er, making use of the scratchboard tool mostly. This is a character study for Bianca Louvre, my Cowboy bebop RPG character. I used Jessica Alba as the model, well, her role as Dark Angel because i think she's lovely... except I hope she doesnt take it against me when she finds out that Bianca lacks a little on the noggin...

Awesome!!!!

As usual good job on the CG, character and nice effects!
I like how you've done her shiny hair, it's so detailed!
I've only got tiny lil critic about the character, I find she has a tiny bit too much forehead.
Good job nonetheless, keep up the good work!!!!

Simply awesome. The hair is magnificent. The colour and lightening is well thought off. The forehead seems a bit large though.

I think maybe, if I may say, the forehead problem could easily be solved by simply lowering her hairline. I don't think its too much forehead so much as the hair is too high up on it.

But really it is fantastic, and I can't really say anything about it at all heh.

Lovely picture Nair, i like the result you get from working with Painter, it's very smooth and nice.
As people have said her forehead looks a bit too large....

Hmm, otherwise i can't really think of anything that i 'dislike' about it or anything that seems wrong...
i luv the hair and her clothes, they look really well done. ^_^

It's nice to see you posting some art again, i hope to see more soon!^^

Very impressive Nair...you're great with Painter...

The background is neat, but with the amount of watercolor filters blurring it (if those aren't PS filters, you're really good at duplicating the effect), I bet you could've done an awesome one by hand...one that matched the lighting since the background's light source seems to be coming from behind her, yet she's clearly lit from the front. Everyone already got all over the massive forehead issue, so i won't mention that, but her right hand doesn't look like it's actually gripping those cards.
But great work, her skin looks a bit shiny and grimy, but since the picture looks kinda hot and dusty anyways, it fits. I'm usually biased against pics that are saturated with warm colors, but the merits of this pic are still pretty obvious...now draw another one *cracks whip*

It's impressive, like most Nairohe drawings.

---C&C:

I believe all errors've been discovered and mentioned; the high forehead, and the hand & cards - they almost appear to be elevating behind her finger. Personally I also think her skin's a bit too shiny, I doubt people polish their skin. I've already mentioned it's impressive and that it is - I hope you keep up the good work.

--- can't we get to see a hand-drawn and hand-coloured drawing one of these days?

looking at her again, She looks sort of like Britney Spears... sweatdrops* This was done in a rush since i only had 2 hours to spare to work on it from start to finish...

I'm aware the forehead is bigger... I think it goes very well with her character... she's got a big head. If you pay attention, she's bowing her head so you don't see her chin very much... eheh...

She also has this cool feature on her hands which let's her handle anything she touches, but she prefers cards, into grenades... but i'm not sure if pen2 will let me keep that toy but well, that explains why it's oddly placed there... i was paying attention to the card so that's partly an excuse to leave it hanging there and partly because i didn't want to go back and draw it again... eheehhe... sweatdrops*

I didn't use any sort of effect mentioned on this peice but it was simply chance that was made due to the scratchboard tool. I guess it came out pretty good... weheh, i just wish i paid more attention rather than do it in a rush... i learned a lot of lessons on this one so the next image i did for Kiva turned out a lot better too...

well, the layer option on painter 7 is useful yet i still like the simple water brush option on 6 and it's nowhere to be found on 7... i guess i'm still going to work with 6.
