I can't wait, except for those stupid name changes. If anyone has the time could they post the names that where changed, all I know is God Gundam is now Burning (Burning Finger, hurry get some water!) and Devil Gundam is now Dark. How stupid in my opinion, they change the names so they're "politically" correct but yet in a Dragon Ball episode they show them "Saying Grace". Not only that, but they're stupid names Burning... I mean sure it sounds nice with Shining and Rising Gundam but it takes out the whole "God vs. Devil" meaning of the names.

Knowing CN it'll probably be edited to hell, but I'm excited anyway.
I've seen very little of the original, so it should be nice to see the rest

Actually Bandai is editing this one
CN has told the companies to edit them, and will only be edited by CN if they think they can do a better job.
I'm not sure on all the name changed but I Know they made some pointless changes. God and Devil gundam fine because they aren't supposed to have religious references (dragonball Z is magically excluded somehow) . But Pharoh gundam to mummy gundam? Is there really a point.

Really? Well now this I have to see! 
About DBZ... DBZ was pretty heavily edited too until they loosened the leash a bit not to recently. I wouldn't be surprised if G-Gundam is slowly given a little more freedom after awhile as well.
I'll never understand the psychee of a tv-network censor...

Oh no, little American children are going to turn into Egyptians(sp) beacuse they heard "Pharoh" instead of Mummy. God forbid that anything point to any sort of religious refernce, when America was basicly founded on the ideals that anyone can speak of any faith they believe in.

guys, you need to know a few things:
1. the toonami version is as uncut as possible (97% of the series is uncut). why is it almost uncut? becuase 90% of the time, the edits are language edits, and Bandai (who's editing the series) made sure that the dub is acceptable. to end this point, Jerry said in AX, if i shall quote

2. The name changes was done by SUNRISE. yes, the creators themselves. AND NOT CN or BANDAI! apparently, they didnt want streotypes.
3. this kinda relates to point 1, but editing for G will be the same as the editing for Wing, and the dub language isnt a problem (unlike the afternoon run of wing) for G, so this should be relatively uncut
well thats about it. how do i know this? i have connections
and oh yeah, if you guys dont like the name changes, stop bitching about it, buy the dvd's which will have the orignal names in the sub version, there will be 3 dvd's per street date so its not going to be a long of wait. (and theyre cheap too, $20 for a 4-5 eps a disc dvd)
