Review by (Kei Rin)
- Popular comics "Love Hina" serve as a moderate adventure game, and appear in the Game Boy advance. The character is drawn by the beautiful graphics based on the animation version, and, moreover, talks at the key point! It becomes the purpose for the contents of a game to set target her out of the resident of Hinata Apt, and to greet a happy end. Although relations become better and better, overcoming a trouble with various girls, depending on selection, it will be knocked by the girl and energy will be exhausted. It will act considering whether the degree of love rises, if which selection is carried out considering the remaining energy. You are whether to be able to greet a happy end with a favorite girl sure enough --
One things for sure, Love Hina Advance is a spiffy looking game. Considering the fact that most of the graphics are shots from the anime; the graphics are attractive. Though I'm no dating-sim veteran, I thought this game was too easy. Really, getting the girl came down to the last date. It was like you could neglect one, at the last minute decide to date her, and win her.
Die hard fans of the anime or manga will get all school-girl-giggly with glee the minute 'Sakura Saku' starts playing on their GBA. There's no doubt that dating-sim fans will enjoy it as well. Still, dating-sims have yet to inflitrate the US market, so I doubt anyone other than the previously mentioned fan groups will ever actually get a chance to play the game.

Love Hina Advanced is based on the Anime series, Love Hina. Love Hina is a popular romance anime series in japan. Love Hina Advanced was only released in japan, no english version of the game is available. That is the only bad part. This game is almost like a dating sim, in the aspect where the main goal is to build the affection level of the girls.
The main character of Love Hina is Keitarou Urishima. Following a childhood promise, Keitarou sets out on a quest to apply for Tokyo University... for the third time in a row. In order to continue living he must become the manager of a females dorm. This is not as fun as it sounds, as Keitarou gets pushed around and beat up by the girls. As you continue through the game you learn about many of the girl's backgrounds. Especially Naru, another main character of Love Hina. You are faced with many options with several choices, you have a very limited time to answer. Answer correctly and the girls affection level will raise. Answer incorrectly and they will usually kick you in the head. Also, this sim does not have you doing the same thing every day, i.e Tokimeki Memorial, instead it has many events. Everyday there is some sort of event. The game follows very closely with what happens in the T.V show, including the order of events. This game is also extremely humorous, for those who understand Japanese. You really dont need to know Japanese to understand whats going on, i.e Naru punches you hard in the face. This game is pretty self-explanatory, you just answer questions and your set. This game is a text based game, beware action gamers.
You will probably hate this game.
Pros.
For those who enjoy text based games, this is the best. It has authentic graphics which grab your attention every minute.
Cons.
Love Hina Advanced could get boring for many action-based gamers, you dont move around at all.
Graphics.(10/10)
Love Hina Advanced has the best graphics that I have ever seen. The graphics of Love Hina can easily compare with gamecube.
Story Line(10/10)
This is what makes up the whole game. Without it, you'd have nothing but pictures.
Replay Value. (9.878/10)
I would play this game 1000 times if i could. This game is very addictive, especially for the Love Hina fans.
All in all, I would recommend getting this game especially for Love Hina fans.

And the final treat is this site, http://www.rpgfan.com/pics/love-hina-adv/

I'm playing this game right now
I'm in pretty good with Naru and Shinobu to I just finished the second episode. It's pretty cool but I can't understand a word of it and I keep getting beaten up because of it.
UPDATE: I finished the game in less than an hour. Not bad for someone who can't read Japanese
