Is Mara more feminine now? (Mara spoilers)

Have you noticed that Mara has become more feminine, lately?

SPOILERS!!!

SPOILERS!!!

Consider her first appearances.

In "Sympathy for the Devil"

1. Tamiya - we don't know what he thought of her, unfortunately, but he certainly didn't find her very attractive.

2. The homeless man on the street addressed her as another man.

3. Keiichi had seen Mara twice, even had a conversation with her, yet still thought she was a boy. He had to be told that she was a girl.

4. When Mara grabbed Megumi at the beginning of "Mara Strikes Back", Megumi thought she was a boy. Mara was taken aback and told her that she was, indeed, a girl.

Yet, at the beginning of "The Devil in Miss Urd" Keiichi spied Mara through the fog and immediately identified her as an attractive girl, even though he hadn't yet realized it was Mara.

So, just when did Mara get in touch with her feminine side?

Well being told you look like a guy so many times is bound to motivate just about anyone to buy a dress or two .

Well, I'll confess that I've never given Mara much thought about in the series (I usually view her as the obligatory foe). Mara looking like a male was used early in the series, but like many of KF's plot devices, this was abandoned later (remember the changing emblem of Bell, the system force, the fainting spells?).

I agree with Les on this one. Mara's looking like a guy seemed to used as emphasis on the harshness and gruffness of the demons. Fujishima further evolved the character to make her more feminine, but he still managed to keep that grungy aspect of Mara's.

Edit: Did I scare people off? Nobody has replied for 5 days...where is everyone? :/

Well that's one reason, but Keiichi recognizing her as female may have also had something to do with the fact that she had no clothes on.

Speaking of which it was never explained WHY exactly Mara was in the man's spring to begin with. I mean I don't she how it coincided with her plan for the goddesses at all. Maybe she was waiting for some guy to seduce or something...
