SM fanart
This was done as a request... but after I gave it away I noticed all of the mistakes [*that's a typical thing I do...*] The head seems abnormally big and... well... I guess the whole thing is practically disporportioned. *Hmm... I seem to be criticizing my own work o_O* Sorry, a 15 year old like *me* doesn't have much common sense... But possibly you could help me spot anymore problems

Wow, their faces are beautiful XD I think what's wrong with the first one is that her head is in 3/4 view but her body is facing straight ahead, it makes it look weird and twisted...also the wrinkles on the shirt seem randomly thrown in there: you should look at a real person's clothing and see where the fabric gathers ^_^ and one more thing is that the ends of her pigtails on the table look like paper because of the way they are "folded" hair should flow and ripple (sort of like water lol) I really like the second one
I hope you don't think I was being too harsh on you because that really wasn't my intention...I just think that with a few tweaks your art could be spectacular!
ttfn!
love,
-Me

Hehe, I don't think anyone was harsh... I was really expecting a lot of critiques and as a matter of fact I thank you all for the ..errm.... critiques... *A lack of word choice * In addition to that, thank you for the nice comments Once again, I thank you all ^_^
Oh! ainslye, to answer your question...:

Actually, I've already colored them, but it was before I knew how to use the layer system... So it looks terrible. ^^;;; But I do plan on re-coloring it. : ]

They're good..
---C&C:
#1: I believe Nefla, along with the others, have already pointed out the majority of bugs. If I'm to be perky, I could add that the eyes're slightly asymmetric; slightly different height and focus point.
#2: I can't really tell what's wrong; but something about her eye bugs me. If I find out what, I'll get back to it.
It's probably a technical problem, but both of the drawings appears to be blurred; nothing overly bad though. Overall, both are very good.

I've finally *partially* finished coloring Jupiter. Since I've been working on it for nearly 2 hours, I think I'll take a break. ; ]
However...I really did get lazy with the hair... especially with the bangs... and it doesn't look acceptionally right and doesn't seem to accompany the face with the way I colored it. Well, just wanted a few tips on cg before I finalize it... Maybe I really ought to look into reading some tutorials...

I think I saw what you meant, not sure if it's the same thing we were eyeing... but I tried fixing it. Not sure if that made a difference.

Hey if you're only 15 and your drawing like that already all I can say is you're going to be getting ALOT better further on down the line if you keep up this quality in your work.
As for the CGing, you already seem to have hair down quite well in terms of technique despite the highlights are a little off (too everywhere-ish). As for her skin, you can go deeper with a few more tones to give the face as much depth as her hair and this will make the overall image stand out alot more.
But as is, you're doing very well indeed.

Oops... Ahahaha~* ^^;;;;; I seem to have a little obsession with small fonts... I'll try to keep in mind that not many people like them...
