Cluster II episode 1

Narrator:One thousand years ago, Earth had its first great peril. A giant force of pure evil, known only as 'the great cataclysm' threatened to grind the entire planet to nothing. One person was able to stop this from happening, if a person was what you could call him.
He was Magnus, one of 4 Cluster Lizard merges, capable of extreme psychic abilities. Magnus went beyond them all though, destroying his 3 bretheren and doing what every lizard aspires to do. He unlocked all of his mind's power, 100%, and he was unstoppable. He was alone, though. The great cataclysm had destroyed the cluster and his brothers had destroyed every person that he knew and cared about. He stretched himself out, giving his memory to be passed on to all the people of the Earth, and in so doing he faded away, encompassing the entire universe. He did so to keep himself alive, in much the same way his father, the bringer of the cataclysm, had done. Magnus had sensed that a great bane on humanity was coming, and he must be there to stop it. For 1000 years people knew of Magnus, and his memory cells were passed down...

...Now that time is up, and Magnus is to be reborn.

Cluster II episode 1: Return of a hero/ Parasite's eve

The meteor burned through the depths of space, hurtling ever faster towards a certain blue-green planet that it had been designated for. There was 2 things wrong with this space rock though. One, it was green and two, it was not a rock. Silently the creature hurtled into the atmosphere, passing by all the radar and tracking stations, before plummeting into the large city of Crayvin, causing untold death and destruction.
After its big splash though, there was nothing else out of it. It did not work like that, everybody knew what it was though, and with the first emergency siren they all knew that it was time to bring back Magnus. Preparations were made, the free council leader made his statement to the people, emploring them to remain calm and that there would be a period of pain before things would return to normal. After a whole day was through, everybody was ready to begin.
Free Council leader Ben Tandy walked down the main street in Crayvin, which was unofficially considered the capital of the world. The man had no qualms about the authority of his title, he was the big man on campus. It's just that the word "President" was never used after the events of 1000 years ago.Silently he made a path among the mass of people that had arrived for the big event, with his two bodyguards making sure that they stayed out of his way. He had done a hell of a lot of thinking during what was a fairly short walk from his chambers to the statue of the lizards, but now he was ready. He knew exactly what he would say.
Still silent, he climbed up onto the base of the statue and addressed the people. "My fellow human beings, we are all paying special attention to this day, for this is the day where Magnus will save us." He said, giving a pause for effect as the camera crews broadcast his message to every country on the planet. "So now, ignore the pain you will feel, and let the cells be taken out of you, let Magnus come back to this world. Father McKintyre!" He finished, pointing at a tall priest that had arrived at the same time that Ben did. The priest nodded, and walked to the front of the statue.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"They're so damn fragile", the words repeated themselves over and over in the mind of Magnus, possibly the only thing he could think of given his state. The spark that gave him the 100% of his mind. The death of the human he cared for the most. Kelly Mitchell. Somewhere in the infinitessemaly stretched mind of Magnus, he formed thoughts.
/Kel-ly/ he thought, slowly. This seemed to take several minutes to form, the next thought he had came much quicker. /what..happening?/ All ready, there was some semblance of consciousness, a feeling in the universe that something was forming. This kept for a long time, with Magnus becoming more and more aware. He became aware that he could see without having any bodily functions yet, so he did. The bright world he saw brought back memories, even though it seemed more advanced than he remembered... or did he remember it? He couldn't tell for certain, but he was becoming aware of other things.
He realised he could look down, so he did, noticing that pieces of the universe were coming together, an armsleeve, another one, a black cloak that had been ripped to several shreds from his battles. It was then that he got names, and he could piece everything together.
/Ayla, Cthon, His Divine Shadow....Cthulu/ the names flashed through his huge mind, with faces to go with them, and then suddenly a new face appeared in his eyes. He knew exactly who it was./ Prince Magnus...Me!/ he thought, before realising that it was all over, and he was standing in a crowded city plaza, with thousands of people all wanting to hear the mighty lizard speak.
He looked everybody over, then got his familiar smirk. "Hey, anybody order a lizard?" he asked
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ben was amazed to see the black haired merge materialize in front of his very eyes. He knew it was going to happen, but it is still one of the things that amaze and astound you, nevertheless.
Hurriedly, he jumped off of the base of the statue and ran up to Magnus, who up to now had been surveying the people watching him. "Mr. Magnus" he cried out " You know why we called you back right?" Magnus nodded, he knew perfectly well now. "So, the thousand years are up." he stated mostly to himself, before losing interest in Ben and checking out the statues.
First, he came to Ayla. His first brother to die, but not the last by a long shot. Next came Cthon, who was driven insane by losing his arm when Magnus lost his humanity. He had become addicted to cybernetic enhancement, practically an android. Magnus spared no thoughts killing him. The last lizard was Cthulu, and Magnus eyed this statue for a long time. His proud stance and steely gaze were very much attributed to Magnus as well, in a race of brothers, they were almost blood-kin. Magnus thought he would hate Cthulu the most, but his atonement made everything different. He was a clean slate now. Not like the others.
The final statue was of Kelly and Greg. Magnus smiled, and ran his hand over Kelly's hair. She had done more for him than anybody else, and her death was anything but noble. Magnus hoped there was an afterlife so that she would be happy and have her hearing and vision restored. Contently, he turned to Ben, who was hanging around behind Magnus. "Where is it?" he asked. Ben pointed north, and exclaimed "up there, it seems to have burrowed itself in but it isnt doing anything." Magnus concentrated, sure enough he felt a ripple up there, but it seemed dormant. "Okay" he said before adding "see you soon". He reached into his mind for the teleport, and could feel the energis flowing within him, but they were slower than he remembered them.
/That's not right, i should be...AGGH/ Magnus suddenly screamed as immense pain shot through his body as it teleported away, one foot away. He had hardly budged in inch when an one hundred percent lizard would be there in a second. Magnus clutched his chest and shrank to the ground, shivering. "Ah... damnit, I forgot! I have to...to wait for... better" He stammered, barely forming the words.
Ben as well as the entire crowd, was shocked. He barely had enough sense left to hear his phone ringing. "What is it?" he yelled into the speaker, hearing a soldier he had gotten to pull guard duty near the creature come through the other end. "Sir, something is wrong, the creature appears to be moving and... Oh no, sir! it's coming towards you! Ahh-" the phone was cut off as the guard began to scream. Ben anxiously shouted to the collapsed lizard. "Magnus, there is no time to wait, it is coming here. We are evacuating but you have to fight it NOW!" Magnus managed to look ahead as he felt the aura ripple getting stronger, and he managed to stand, but it was an effort, and even taking a step felt like it would take a toll. He gritted his teeth, and waited...

Narrator: Magnus has returned to the planet Earth, to decide the fate of the planet once more, but with whatever it is coming and Magnus barely able to stand, it doesn't look like there will be much of a fight. Can Magnus get his power back in time? Find out in the next episode of Cluster II

Cluster II episode 2: Waiting/ The luxury I don't have COMING SOON!

Well this far it's nothing outrageous, just a nice idea of keeping the bad guy 100% in the darkness, and the scene of Magnus forming is also not bad. Still you had a quite unstable PoV there which doesn't let me feel real close to the story. Remember to tell at least the entire chapter out of one singles person's perspective, otherwhise it feels too impersonal and remote and won't be convincing.
I'm not quite sure about the future thing either. It's 1000 years after Cluster01, which was like100 years ahead of the present, so we're counting the year 3103. Ooh. A lot of things happen in a thousand years, the world should look a little more different. It's the difference between the dark middle ages and the present. Remember science grows every time quicker and affects our way of life and thought. This far I don't feel it that remote.
Of course, the open ending of EoE left a lot of posibilities. I had also fancied myself about a continuation, but forgot to tell you. My version was "Cluster: reincarnation". I never thought people would be actually conscious of the netire story of Magnus, after all, each of them has only one memory cell, so they remember sporadic parts, but ignore them. That untill one dude notices his recurent dream somehow matches onto the one of his neighbour and starts going out into the world to gather Magnus pieces and become every time more Magnus himself in the process. Now I'm not quite sure who, but, of course, someone would also try to stop him.
