CCA as a Series

How many of my fellow Char's Counterattack fans believe the movie would of been better as a full-length series?

Many of the First Gundam, Z Gundam casts who did not appear in the film could of been fit into the series had there been one.

There could of been many new Mobile Suits, there's quite a few CCA Variations out there. Once such being the AMS-120X Geara Doga Psycommu System Test Type, which is clearly a pre-Sazabi.

So many things could of happened in CCA that didn't, and i'm not saying it was bad, it was a brilliantly done film, however I wished that Yoshiyuki Tomino had taken the time to make this into a series rather than a movie.

A full-length series would be waaaay too long. Maybe an OVA.

Well I feel a full-length series would of better described the feelings of all characters involved, not just Char and Amuro. We could of seen the true skills of Kayra Su, Gyunei Guss, Hathaway Noah, and Rezin Schynder.

It's obvious Gyunei is protective of the Space Colonies as any spacenoid should be, but his comment he made about Char to Quess intrigues me "When people like the Captain get made they start destroying Colonies" now Char didn't destroy any of the colonies but the Neo-Zeon soldiers raided..Side 2 I believe it was.

If it was a series it would've been one of those really short 13 episode series like Hellsing or something. Making it too long wouldn't be right since the movie was only 3 or so hours long, so extending that into a 40 something episode series wouldn't be a good idea. A 13 episode thing would be okay.

That'd be the OVA I was talking about.

AMX-107 Bawoo

Make no mistake i'm not talking about the original Bawoo, it creeps me out. Bawoo Nutter? come on..sounds like something used to milk sperm. Not to mention it looks like a chick spreading her legs. The Bawoo Attacker..I dunno what to say about the Bawoo Attacker.

As you can see the Katoki version doesn't have the symbol on the left skirt armor plate, the cockpit is slightly different on the outside, the legs aren't exactly as wide, and there are some openings above the 4-tube grenade launchers.

The Bawoo's look alot like the Zeta Gundam in my opinion, with a more Zeonic look. Although a big disappointment is the fact that the Zeta Gundam's total thruster output is 112,600 kg and the Bawoo's (the ZZ version, the Katoki version has no stats) total thruster output is 75,040 kg.

Other then all that I love the look of this Suit, though rather than those two abominations to transformable mobile suits it should of just had a normal mobile armor mode.

The weaponry isn't too bad I suppose. A new version of the Bawoo with additional rocket thruster power, and the Katoki variation's look, perhaps some new weapons and it would of made a very nice addition to either tactical fleet.

For the most past, it would of been better than the Re-GZ. I like the Re-GZ don't get me wrong, hell it's even faster than the Bawoo, but maybe some crossing and boom we have ourselves a high performance transformable mobile suit.

MSA-004K Nemo III

Despite the fact the original Nemo looked like a Jegan (although a Jegan could of whipped the Nemo's ass from here to China), but as most of my fellow Z Gundam watchers know this is a MASSIVE improvement over the Nemo.

One might also believe this design was later recycled and used for the OZ-13MSX2 Mercurius of Gundam Wing.

This design is very nice, the total thruster output is 68,600 kg. So that already rules out that it's not the fastest suit in the course of 6 years from Z Gundam to Char's Counterattack. It's faster than the Geara Doga, slower than the Jagd Doga (which means it'll also be slower than the Sazabi and the Alpha Azieru), slower than the Re-GZ (which is slower than Nu Gundam). But it could be given some nice weapons to deal with enemy threats.

RX-178 Gundam Mark II

One can immediately note the Katoki version of the Mk II is that the cockpit resembles that of the Jagd Doga in Char's Counterattack. The face shield is different, and the beam saber hilts have been altered.

I like the new look, could of been the principal design for a Gundarium armored version of the Mk II. When ya don't have the funds to make brand new Mobile Suits, update the ones ya got. Update the cockpit to the Federation's UC 0090's styled cockpit, give it some more weapons and boom you've got yourself a dependable MS.

The developers wouldn't have to look too hard, there is some interesting equipment which can be found here FA-178 Full Armor Gundam Mark II. Imagine all that equipment, not with the regular titanium alloy/ceramic composite but with gundarium alloy. We're looking at a thruster output (if the output of the Mk II were to stay the same as it originally was) of 124,500 kg. Now you strap the G-Defensor on this bad boy and we're talkin' 209,300 kg as the total thruster output.

MS-15K Gyan Kai

I've never actually seen the original YMS-15 Gyan in action, but it looks pretty weak compared to this baby. There's no exact speed or weapons (other than the large beam sword/beam lancer and the shield missle)

Could be a very nice addition to Char's Neo-Zeon fleet.

AMX-103G Mass Production Type
Hamma Hamma

Looks to be nicely armed, though it isn't specified it looks as though that thing in the chest is some sort of Mega Particle Gun.

Unknown Mobile Suit 1

I like the looks of this

Unknown Mobile Suit 2

Same as the above. These are all i'm gonna post for now even though i've got plenty more, the point is I have plenty of leftover designs to dig up that could of been used in the CCA series, so lack of Mobile Weapons (that phrase pertains to Mobile Armors, and Mobile Suits) is not at all a problem.

unfortunately, CCA as a series would just be a repeat of zz gundam, neo zion attack the earth and fail to ahcieve final victory.
And tehres only so much you oculd do with char as a dictator..

Actually I did think of something, have them fail with the Axis drop about halfway through the series.

Then have a Neo-Zeon soldier (preferably Nanai or Char) think about Amuro's comment "It will cause a nuclear winter" the winter part intrigues the person, thus leading to the production of a Heat Cannon which will be able to melt the polar ice caps and cause a worldwide flood. This will restore Earth, or give it a "long rest" as Char wanted.

I figure that's better than another colony drop, or mega cannon idea, even though there is the use of a particular cannon.
