I HATE CIONSOLES!

All of these bloody companies releasing all of these stupid consoles!

I hate it! Hardware developers pour their expertise into these ugly hunks of plastic, robbing PC enthusiests of the latest and greatest in the like. It just makes me so mad!

Back in the old days, I used to enjoy playing on my Commodore 64; but now all you see is square-eyed kiddies playing their bloody Dreamcasts and Playstation 2's! At least with a PC, there is a world of oppertunity and variety!!!

I think that all of the damnable companies who create these ugly abominations should declare they're 'bigger than Jesus' so the world has an excuse to incinerate them all! BURN ALl CONSOLES!!!

Calm down. So what exactly is your problem with consoles. Is it because they take away 3rd party support form the PC gamers? I dont understand your reason for hating them, could you clarify it for me?

There's a W-I-D-E variety of games for consoles. Full-featured games that don't need patches, that don't require $250 video cards and $300 17" monitors to look good. Games that might lack maturity, but excel at keeping me glued to the couch for whole weekends. Where the hell did this come from?

Apples and Oranges my friend. Getting past the whole PCs run faster but are an upgrade nightmare (don't get me started!) one can appreciate the that both are different mediums with a unique style. FPS and RTS are always going to be a PC thing but if your after RPGs which aren't just hybrids of the forementioned you've got to go console, end of story.

And how so do consoles rob the PC market? There are many good PC games which will never get released on consoles and many of the really good console games never come out on PC is simply because there is no Japanese market for PC games and they're usually the ones who make the best console games.

The only Japanese companies who produse PC games are

Konami
Capcom
and Square

I'm not a computer gamer hater (rhymes?) at all, BTW. I love FPS and RTS games. I just don't play them anymore. I've had more fun with consoles. I like RPGs and games ike Tony Hawk that are just better for a living room. Some people just have different likes and dislikes. *shrug*

True consoles don't have as variety as computers, and are harder to update.
I like computers better then consoles, though computers crash consoles don't... thats why I got a console.

consoles don't have patches or add ons. i like consoles to,but i like the freedom of using a hex editor to make my gaming more fun.

People do have to program the console and games for it.
