Installing PHP

1)Download a php installer from here

2)Install it into the directory c:\php

3)copy the file php4ts.dll to c:\windows\system

4)copy the file php.ini-dist to the c:\windows directory

5)rename the file to php.ini

6)open php.ini in notepad

7)Search for the line extension_dir and set it to
extension_dir = C:\PHP\extensions

8)search for the line session.save_path and set it to
session.save_path = C:\WINDOWS\TEMP

9)save your changes and exit php.ini

10)Open the apache configuration

11)at the bottom of the file add
LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .phtml
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

12)save and exit the apache configuration

13)Pat yourself on the back, you installed PHP

If anyone has any questions or comments please email me @ the above adress.

If anyone woul like instructions on instaling a mysql server please post here, or a pop3/SMTP server.

1 last thing,

If you have a dynamic IP adress, (which you more than likely do) then go here And register and download dns2go.
