I have recently discovered the genre. Most of it is pretty good. I like the urban-jazz fusion-techno style of DJ Krush and the overall enthusiasm by groups such as The Blue Herb.

Has anyone else heard of Japanese Hip-hop or knows where I can find more?

see you space cowboys.

Well the Pool Bit Boys aren't primarly hip hop, but they do do it in a lot of their songs (Esp. Dan). Check out these two songs by them:

- Ao No Kiseki (REALLY good)
- What's Life? (funny ^__^)

Shuichi: Hi... Hiro. You... I'm sorry, I didn't notice until now.
Hiro: All I want is for you to be happy... (smirking) Hurry up and tell him you like him!

If you're looking for stuff on dragonash check out their website www.dragonash.co.jp

It has a lot of sample music clips. And here's the big plus most of the site is in English so its ultra-easy to navigate.

YAY! Drangon Ash rocks da house! (head bang bang bang) There's also this band called Rappagariya that has sumthin' to do with them but they're a bit darker than DA.
Also, m-flo is a multi-national band and if I remember right they used to make their music over the Internet? WOW how cool is that!

ORE WA TOKYO UMARE, HIP-HOP SODACHI..... Argh, must learn the word to that Grateful Days....
