I buy translated manga from www.tfaw.com.., they are pretty reliable IMO..., & one of the few sites in the US that will ship internationally...,
www.animenation.com also sell manga (both Japanese, & translated titles).., but I've yet to use their service...,

SenshiNaka: it'd be a good thing to include the link, if you're posting the name of the place

I don't know that I'd trust Animenation very much. Some of my friends have had bad experiences with them. They're also expensive.

Since I don't buy translated manga, I don't know the best place to go to get ahold of it, although I would imagine that Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble would carry a lot of them.

If you're going for original language, I would recommend Anime Gamers, Sasuga Books, or Planet Anime for US-based online places. If by chance you're lucky enough to live in the right area, you might have a Japanese bookstore near you which would sell manga. And if you're really crazy (and don't mind spending a large quantity on shipping), might I suggest Animaxis? They're located in Japan, and they charge directly converted price, which means you're getting original language manga at around $3.10 a volume (prices may vary). The only down side is that you have to pay shipping, which can be expensive since they are shipping from Japan.

Hmm..., admittedly some of their stuff is a wee bit on the pricey side.., but some of their stuff is reasonably priced IMO..., I've heard both good & bad stories about ordering from AnimeNation..., but what has made me rather reluctant to order from them is the fact that they require international customers to fax them a picture of your credit card (to prove that you have the card in your posession)..., it's bad enough e-mailing them your credit card details anyway, but sending a pic of your card is worse IMO...., I'm sure it's all above board & kosher.., but I'm rather paranoid anyway...,

Just blank out the middle 8 digits of the CC number before faxing.
