My list of legitimate DVDs is rather small. But my list of fansubs is truely massive

I'm curious. Why'd you choose to get volume 6, instead of, say, volume 1?

Well, here's my list, in all its alphabetized glory:

Akira
Bastard!
Berserk (v. 1 - 4)
Biohunter
Black Jack
Cowboy Bebop (all of 6 sessions)
Crest of the Stars (v. 1 - 2)
Darkside Blues
Escaflowne Movie (boxset)
Escaflowne TV series (all of eight volumes)
FLCL (v. 1)
Ghost in the Shell
Harlock Saga
Hellsing (v. 1 - 3)
InuYasha (v. 1)
Martian Successor Nadesico (v. 1 - 3)
Nightwalker (v. 1 - 2)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (0:1 - 0:7)
Now and Then, Here and There (v. 1 - 2)
Outlaw Star (v. 1)
Patlabor TV (v. 1 - 2)
Perfect Blue
Petshop of Horrors
Princess Mononoke
Record of Lodoss War OAV
Rurouni Kenshin (v. 1 - 8)
Serial Experiments Lain (all of four volumes)
Soultaker (v. 1)
Spriggan
Trigun (all of eight volumes)
Twilight of the Dark Master
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
Vampire Princess Miyu OAV (all of two volumes)
Vampire Princess Miyu TV series (v. 2)
Vandread (v. 1)
Weiß Kreuz (all of 5 volumes)

It doesn't look like very much, does it? Maybe next time we have one of these threads again, I'll write each volume out separately, and then everyone will "oo" and "ah" over the number of dvds I have.

Or maybe not.

When I bought the DVD, it had just come out. At the time, I hadn't gotten past the first three volumes, but I had heard the Kyoto Arc wasn't that far off. So I guessed and picked it up on a whim.

Stupid me, I later found out that it was the volume RIGHT BEFORE the Kyoto Arc started. And it had a jaw-dropping Kyoto Arc teaser on the disc.

I've since watched all the way up to the beginning of the fight between Kenshin and Shishio. So many DVDs to catch up to.
