AOD's Grand High License List
http://www.animeondvd.com/licenselist/
AnimeOnDVD runs this and I think it's worthwhile to have it posted in Other Anime.

The following pages are not intended to be a list of anime release dates, there are better sites for that. This is just intended to tell you what shows have been licensed by U.S. commercial anime companies, and if possible, when they intend to start releasing them. In Other Words: If it?s on this list you shouldn?t be fansubbing it, distributing it, or attempting to acquire fansubs of it.
...
Important - this page does NOT list things that have been out on VHS for a while, but are not DVD yet. That is a completely different kind of list! Go here!

[ Edit, fixed the URL for a new one. The bottom quote is no longer on their page, but still applies.]
[ Edit: I fixed the URL so it points to the right page.]

obviously this is a yankee release schedule... australians, add about another 6 months to a year for it to get down here.

Drizz, you should have put a warning...
"Australians beware, don't worry... you'll be screwed over by the AV channel as usual"
Now you've got me all sad...

Ahh yes, yee old piece of ---- list that smashed the dreams of millions. right here is where we get to watch companies be total assholes by buying up the rights to anime that they may never release. good thing it's an australian list, being in region 4 coding, I believe that just because it is available in America means ---- over here cos we either gotta specifically get a multi-region DVD player (which doesnt work with certain DVDs) or get a usa region player.
stupid capitalism ruining everything...

You wanna pick an economics fight, PKO? Do it somewhere else.
Point me to or post a link to a list for Aussies and contribute to the thread.
