Well, i had to vote for 'Anything Miyazaki' because my favorite movie is Nausicaa , but it was a close call between it and Akira.

Tough call.......So many choices...

In light of my recent purchase of the SE tin, the new translation and all, and now that I actually have more hints as to what the hell is going on, I'll go with Akira.

Just so there aren't any misunderstandings, it wasn't the SE tin that made my decision....merely the gust of wind that pushed the boulder over the cliff (to utilise a useless analogy)...

So, I called up Robert...The rest is history."

Had to give it up for Ninja Scroll, by far one of the best action anime movies of all time. That and I sort of felt it had to stand out as it was a standalone movie and not an add on to a series (and I'm not a big fan of some of the other standalones...sorry akira fans)

lol, the complete lack of votes in this poll is pathetic....

I guess you drew the short straw in which forums mods moderate...eh' drizz

well Im sad to say i was a little sad by how many of those anime movies that were listed i had yet to see....

out of the few I have seen (and own)... however I feal were probably the most popular ones Ninja Scroll, Akira, Gits, etc. but as good as those movies were I realize the mere fact that I simply just dont watch them that much...

I voted for Lupin Castle of Cagliostro because I simply find my self watching it more often than the rest..... for its shear entertainment value other than the emensly good artwork or deap storylines of akira, EOE and the like.... [/end rant]

I made a minor change to the lineup. Added Please Save My Earth and put it in Porco Rosso's old place, which is a Miyazaki flick.

Heh... This was a hard pick. I knew that Akira, Princess Mononoke and Ninja Scroll were gonna be voted. I wanted to choose either Vampire Hunter D, Perfect Blue, or Battle Angel but for some reason I picked Gundam Wing Endless Waltz...

i'd vote for the Eva movies but i haven't seen them yet so i voted for Castle of Cagliostro. Lupin movies are always good entertainment. Jigen rocks!

I haven't seen the Eva or Esca movies, so I went with the underdog, Please Save My Earth. That movie is sooo good. I love the intricacies and ideas it raised. Again, though, I'd never say PSME was better than Akira, Princess Mononoke, Kite, Grave of the Fireflies, or the Tenchi movies.
