i've looked on the source code and i think the webmaster used MS Frontpage ver. 4.0

the webmaster also used tables with a border of 0

try experimenting with tables and maybe that's how the webmaster created the edge top banner

okay, i had kinda the same problem as you. In dreamweaver when my mate does tables and puts sets cell padding, cell spacing and cell borders to "0", it sticks right to the edge, but for me it doesn't

so i have kept a template from his website and each time i want to make a site where its sticking to the top, i use that.

do you know how to use tables (thats the only way to do it)

OK you can do it in the CSS at the start of the table..... or if you want to be cool you can add the banner to a layer that has it's location set to 0,0 on the page.

don't you just set the margins so its would have 0 0 values, so it will "stick to the walls of the browser"

if you are using dreamweaver
all you do is right click go to page properties...
see the left right ect margins....
and they are blank
just fill them with "0"
and that your solution
