99% accurate Programming schedule for ACen

Some more words from Ryan...

---

hi guys,

in addition to the page with the schedule for the main programming room:
www.acen.org/liveschedule.html

i've put out pages for the remaining live programming rooms schedule
(guaranteed to be 99% accurate, or you have permission to hit yourself on
the head with a chopstick ), at www.acen.org/lpfri.html
www.acen.org/lpsat.html and www.acen.org/lpsun.html
There are no links on the site to those yet, i'll be working on those
sunday.

Also, you may note you don't see any mention of receptions or karaoke..

well fear not! They are special!

so much so they don't fit into normal live programming spaces

Karaoke will be held friday and saturday evenings in this year's new
massive con suite, The Forum. complete with tiered seating and a stage.
(little elves also tell me that the con suite will have great
amenities and run by way cool people this year, and we'll even have a
pepsi fountain machine set up in there..shhh ^_^...code red anyone?)

The meet the guests reception and the post-masquerade reception will
be in large grand ballroom foyer. friday night after dealer's room closes
will be the MTG, which is an informal cocktail party kind of setting
in which there'll be hours duerves-like food, and where guests will
either walk around or camp out at a table and mingle and chat with
everyone (and don't ask for autographs! this is relaxation for
everyone )...The post-masquerade reception will naturally happen after
the masquerade. Enjoy a time of mingling with free-range cosplayers
and get a chance to take pictures. We'll have a specific area of the
place set aside for groups or people to pose for multiple photographers,
and to help keep the traffic to at least managable proporations. this
doesn't mean you can't take pics elsewhere, just offering a set-aside
spot pre-ordained to be a picture taking spot. the reception also
serves as a 'diversion' while the crew sets up the main programming
room for Soap Bubble 2:Club ACen, this year's dance.

any questions? send them my way....

---

I'm definitely excited seeing all of this stuff going on. It's going to be an interesting con to staff.

A couple questions…

Forgive my ignorance… But how does the anime music video contest work? Becuase if it's just simple dubbing… I suck at that too… Can I have your autograph? How about my plan with the masqurad inculding a peice with you? Can you squeeze in the time?

And why does this AC look at little less exciting than the one I went to before last year? Nothing personal…-IO just remember al lot more panels, interveiws and flotsom and fajames in the last one…

Sorry I didn't mean to anger you! Please don't hurt me!

Anime Music videos? Editors usually submit their AMV's in advance, and many people use programs like Premiere and such to create them. I'm not sure what you mean by dubbing...

I thought you weren't going to do what you had originally intended to do for the Masquerade - but unfortunately, I don't think I've got the time to really spare for it. But don't worry - there will be a creative way to get you off of the stage if you go over, from what I hear.

If you pre-registered, you already got my autograph
