So they are getting ahold of GT and dubbing it. Interesting. Last I heard, FUNi didn't want to do it...but that doesn't make sense since it'll let them continue milking the DBZ cow for another few years.

And honestly, there ain't much they can do to DBGT to make it worse than it already is.

...you know how long it takes to dub anime, Erik? Especially an anime with a fanbase as viciously vocal as DBZ's? There are 291 episodes in DBZ alone. Another 64 in GT. It takes other anime companies 12-18 months to dub and release your standard 26 episode series. Everyone lays into FUNi's back every chance they get and never seem to take the time to realize that they've been busting their asses to get this show out. We may never agree on their choices for English voice acting, or their marketing strategy, but to release so much so far and with so much left to go (including most of the movies), I think it's unfair to call them "stupid lazy slackers."

I don't think FUNimation actually has the rights to GT yet...No, they don't..GT was a pretty big waste of time..

I have the whole series subbed . I just like to some times watch the dub to see the differences between it and the original.

It just dumb for Funimation to get the rights to dub DBGT.

DBGT sucks as it is, but Funimation dubbing it will make it even worse. With all the edting they do it like making a bad thing even worse. Dubbing GT is a waste of time. I doubt that it i't's going to do well over here.

Funimation should finsish dubbing any Dragon Ball Z and possible any of the orignal Dragon Ball that still needs to be dubbed and leave it at that.

Of course will all know that the only reason that Funimation would dub DBGT is so that they can milk the Dragon Ball series for every dollar they can get.

funi already dubbed 1/2 past season 5 and they'll be done by probably be done with dbz by early march, cn just wants to put season 6 in the fall b/c most network tv show seasons start in the fall. why cn wants to keep in conjunction with the networks is beyond me
