I own every episode. Kurumi 2 kind of killed the story line.
It might be awsome again if they would finally reach the future and start kicking demon a**.

Wait, I think I've heard somewhere that there is more after Kurumi 2.
Can anyone confirm this?

Nope, according to the ADV films website, there are only the seven dvds; that includes the first five in the first SAK and the other two in No.2. Doubt there will ever be a follow up

When a story loses what made it unique, the people lose interest.
Poor Kurumi.....

Did someone else direct it? Or perhaps it veered away from the manga.. Although Ive only seen the cover of the Manga, there seems to be a larger variaty of ongoing characters as well as *hopefully* no future/lesbian side plot.

To rivive a thread as old as this is just shameful.......
Its not like this subforum had gotten in trafic in a year though, so the points kinda moot. They're all old threads.

And if I'm not mistaken, I believe the manga ends at the end of SAK I, so thats why they made something different. Both shows are directed and written by the same people.

I just say treat SAK II like Tenchi Universe or something. Its basically an alternate remake, instead this time they just used a hundred year gap. And for people complaining about the lesbian elements, were the straight romance elements in the original actually any good? Really is anyone actually a fan of that perfect little saint, Nakahito? He basically emboides all of the most annoying characteristics of every shounen harem main charcter. Nako in SAKII is definitely an improvement by far imo.

And sure SAK II is fluffy, but its high quality fluff imo. The original had a pretty crappy plot to begin with, I might add, although I agree the sequel is less plot-fueled.

Unfortunatley Im basing my analysis on other peoples summery of SAK 2 so I cant say anything solid myself.. I would check it out but I dont want to waste money to buy it if its no good and although the vid store has one of the SAK 2 volumes.. its the second one and so the story for me would be shot.

Well if you don't own SAK I yet, just buy the cheap brick that has the entire series in it:

If you like cute and funny girl/girl romance you will like the sequel. Shouldn't go by its reputation. I disagree with most anime fans on everything, I definitely feel you need to draw your own conclusions on stuff, becuase most people just advertise their own tastes instead of actually trying to review something objectively.

Dont need to own it, since Im satisfied with the 'first four' dvds and again, I only want to rent it in order to watch it that one time since Im not in the financial habit of buying anime; all I own is the Eva and Hellsing Collection. Yet it would be nice to check it out

The mention of "demon kind" from the first one seemed very interesting. I wish they'd have done more in that area. That would have been cool.
