Very good. I get the hint of Western influence in your style Particularly when it comes to the shading technique you use.

Aloha, guys,

Thanks for your comments, I´m really glad you´ve liked her

Ado - Danke, Ado. LOL Yup, it´s FayeFaye, honky tonk woman extraordinaire and everyone´s favorite space cowboy.

Destructa - Arigato, Destructa

kamikazefstorm - Merci, kamikazefstorm.

Splintr420 - Spaceeba, Splintr420.

SamIam - Gracias, SamIam; I did it all straight from my head, without references (I´ve started cutting down the use of references in the last few years since it steals away some of the spontaneity of drawing for the fun of it

Nokari - Obrigado, Nokari. Yeah, manga is a new thing for me, I grew up on a diet of superhero comics, so I guess some of it must have sticked with me.

You guys are really great, any character you want drawn, ask the sunset.

If you want any advice or anything about anime/manga styles and techniques, feel free to ask.

One thing you could do to that image is to change the shadows from that particular type of gradual shading to whole dark areas, to "box them in" so to speak.

And of course there is the obligitory "large eyes" that is sannonymous with anime.

Thumbs up

Heya, Nokari, thanks.
You have some good points on how to draw the anime way

I´m on my Boogiepop Phantom phase right now.
Nagi is kinda nice, I guess, with all her "Defender of Justice and Champion of the Inocents" routine, but Toka just wins my heart ten times over, she is SO cool!!!

So, heeeere´s.........BOOGIEPOP!

Hope you like her

Wow, I haven't been in here in a while. These are really interesting. I can totally see the comic book influences in your art work. The last picture of Sailor moon is really cool! I hope you post more soon.

Good job.

Hi, Three Magic Beans,

thanks for your comments, I really love to hear feedback on my work

I draw influences from all quadrants, from european to american and japanese comics/manga, but I guess you´re right, the superhero comics do seem to dominate my style.

Here´s my interpretation of FF7´s Aeris, hope you like her

Ahh Aeris... too bad she went the way she did...

Very nice pieces, all of them. It's great to get new talent on AB. Feel free to show us more!
