Boogiepop Phantom's underground, and AKIRA's one of the most popular. just imagine how many posts Boogiepop Phantom would have if it got the fanbase of AKIRA.
When Boogiepop Phantom is licensed in Australia I will get my cute ten year old ass out their and watch it. Since nearly every review of it i've read raves on about it (especially how it uses sound) but 40 or so posts to start a forum cmon thats pathetic. X had much more discussion going on about it and where's it's forum? (It also had it's 4 or so hard core fans who discussed alot about it and don't you agree having a forum is better to discuss things than one thread?) I would have thought a forum was chosen on the amount of discussion going on about it, not who wanted a forum for it. The time I made that initial post your bitching about BP has 57 posts and looked dead, now it's hit the high 90's and climbing, congrats.

Well I dom't feel like become a marty so I won't state my opinion…

Although I must say, the odds are probably 40% to 60% against you in Akira getting it's own forum…

I would have said that the paper thin Blood had those chances but that movie got a forum before Akira did.

I personally can't believe that Akira has not got it's own forum!!
It is considered one of the best animefilms ever. And I agree.
Give the fans a place to talk!!

I think that there has been more than enough discussion to warrant an Akira forum. My count has found at least 33 threads on the anime which is quite a bit in my opinion. Also many of these threads start what I think are rather mature discussions to analyze the film.

I say give a masterpiece its due and let us have an AKira forum ^_^

Since Dark Horse has just wrapped up their translation of the Akira manga a few months ago, I think that many people might want to compare the whole manga and anime. An Akira forum sure would be a nice place to discuss both.

Yes, we need Akira for the very sanity of these boards. If we don't get it, we'll kick DrZepp in the shins!
