Sci-Fi/Horror Forum

I've given this forum alot of thought and yes I know that normally this may seem a bit inappropriate given that this is an anime board but with the upswing of interest in Star Wars, I think that a sci fi forum would appropo on this board. I mean there are a number of threads in chit chat about sci fi tv series such as Dark Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Start Trek, and other series of that ilk. Also I do believe that a good number of people here are interested in sci fi novels. I think that the addition of this forum would be very appropriate and in tune with the boards themselves. And if anyone needs an anime connection, the series Farscape is released by ADV who release lots o anime in the US.

Even if they have a connection to anime, as long as it isn't animated (in Japan), it is considered as non-anime.

as much as i like sci fi and such, i must say that you can break down all the things into their own anime catagories... and you can find plaes for them... but it was a good idea

Yeah I know what Drizzten said but then again we added the X-Box, Playstation 2, and Nintendo Forums and those weren't anime related forums. They were forums added because George got an X-Box. I know for a fact that eva2k is a Buffy fan and fan of several sci-fi shows so I thought that he might add the forum since to it seems pretty natural. In fact I would argue that movies and series (even if it is a paradox) such as the Matrix (especially this), Star Wars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Trek, and many others are live action animes, series that have one long continuous stories that have a rabid devoted cult of fans. I think it would be justified to add these series. However I can understand as to why this forum wouldn't be added. I'm just saying that this is a forum that I think would have interesting tangents to the ones that we already have.

So you mean you want it to be a sub forum in the GNAD forum?

Not like we don't advertise for those series already.
