Angry What, no Digimon forum?

Why no Digimon forum... it's a very popular anime and by checking out the archives at ff.net you can see that I'm right. I know half the posts will probably be about who goes with who but there are some inteligent Digimon fans out there. They are rare but I sware they're out there!

Well popularity isnt the main aim here, we have a certain image that is more desireble then just whats popular.

I agree with ATh. While it is a very popular Anime, I don't think there is much discussion to be made on it. I'm pretty sure the only thing I'd use it for is pointing out the changes they made in the Eng Dub (they really took the viewing audience for saps here), the multitude of dumb jokes, and the afore mentioned speculation of who should go with whom.

I came here to suggest Digimon to but it's already been done so I'll just follow up.

I have been watching Digimon since the very first episode and I love it. In some places in the U.S. it's one of the only anime people can get so why not give them a forum? I am sure there will be a lot of foreshadowing topics and that will be great! I would definently post there. Thanks for hearing me out and please consider it.

Sort of, but not really. I dare say that Digimon has a more complex storyline than Pokemon. I mean, at least Digimon knew how to stop.

Whilst both have kids with 'mons running around having adventures, I think that's were the similarities end. The little stories in Digimon tend to concentrate more on team work. Also, the stories link together more so than Pokemon, like a serial (filler eps aside). With Pokemon, episodes rarely link together so there is no chance of a cliffhanger.

couldn't have said it better. pokemon just has too many episodes that seem just like the others eps.

I think a Mon Forum isn't that bad an Idea. Discussion can be made of Pokemon, Digimon, Monster Rancher, all that stuff. It'd be better to merge them all into one forum, because as everyone said, an individual forum for each wouldn't bring much discussion. I'm not really a big fan of the series, but I'll occasionally put them on when there's nothing else to watch. So yeah, a Mon Forum wouldn't be that bad. There are probably alot of 'mon fans on the boards who would be happy with one.
