Third OVA video clips

There are 2 video clips for the new OVA 3 on the official site

http://www.tenchi-web.com/c/ryo_p/maintop.html

First one is the making of the ending theme (I think its the ending theme) for the new OVA, the song 'Lovely Cookin' really suits the Tenchi OVAs and those chibi Sasami, Ayeka and Washu are so cute

The second clip I think is the opening, ohh and theres some Ryoko and Ayeka fanservice at the start XD And I wonder who that green haired girl is and that glowing eyed guy must be a new badguy.

Well from those two video clips, the animation looks like its improved a lot. I cant wait =D

Yep. That was probably a promo disc. The first episode airs on September 13. Only 3 more days....

It will probably take a week before the first episode is fan-subbed. I'm hoping.

Well, has anyone read the review of the new OVA. Check out here at www.animeondvd.com From the looks of it, it seems that the first episode was a disappointment for one viewer. I personally think he was too hard on the first episode. Hopefully things will get better with the second episode.

Yes he was too harsh for a series view, but honestly, you would feel a little cheated if you spent money for an episode that was 20 minute review.

But here in America, when Tenchi OVA is released, we will have the pleasure of DVD releases with 3-4 episodes on them, which means our perception won't be quite like his.

Also, his two main complaints centered around

a) Review/flashback focus
B) Poor DVD visual quality.

Two things can already be surmised or stated. First, after an 8 year interval, I would expect hefty review. I doubt future episodes will be anything like that.

Second, by the time the DVD's reach America, video quality should not be an issue.

And as the series goes on, of course it's going to have more new and less review. The fact that he says the atmosphere and drama level is more like the original OVA's is the most promising thing.

And even if it is only review, showing us what that space battle was prior to Dr. Clay's arrival has me pumped up. I always wondered what that was.
