Well... submissions were meant to have closed 2 days ago (7Aug2002). I don't know if you can, but I don't expect Miko-sama to exercise anymore restraint.

Two words: enthusiasm and participation!

I've only received 6 out of the 12 pics and I am VERY disappointed to the people who claimed that they will submit it before the deadline.

For all members outside the project, I have a proposition for all!

If you want your work to be noticed (here, there, overseas) and shine into the limelight as Animeboards' member, here's your chance.

Please, submit any recent work to me before August 12th. For the rest of the others who are still part of the project, please submit before the 14th August!

No extensions, no excuses, no FREE calender!

End of story....

If I have another 6 on me now, I will start on the printing ASAP.

But for those who DID submit theirs will not only receive a free calander, but will receive the following...

- A raw issue of Newtype from Japan (provided that some of you can read it or flick through for the pretty piccies)
- Japanese origami paper
- A Calligraphy pen from Japan: both tips in two different sizes (adjustments not required!)

These are thank you gifts on my behalf and the trouble you went through.

If all 12 pics are submitted BEFORE the deadline, I will give you your lil trinkets through snail mail, provided that customs don't intend on throwing them away.

If you want the calenders ASAP before the end of the year, get your @$$es working and submit them now!!!!!

Dashes in from the gym and slams her face into a solid wall

Gets up slowly, rubbing both her forehead and the back of her head

Itai!

So far, the following people that I have received are:

Asukatoo
Nairohe
Nefla
ReiGouki
Sinix
Yasei Chi
myself

NB. I don't get these goodies hence I can only buy 11 of each for you guys only.

Actually, I need 5 more from other people ASAP and I will start on the printing once I reorganised the calender. But, if they DID back out, then no calender, no goodies in the mail box

Anyways, hence I'll be updating the months this week, could anyone please throw in important dates but no school/uni/college vacations/holidays, pay days and so forth. Only national holidays all over the world. That's right! It'll be an international calender by you, the participant.

If you know someone who can draw original artwork within Animeboards, aside the obvious, notify them ASAP with no delay. Also, all artwork have to be of your original content and no one elses. Which means, no plagarism of other's original content or an actual anime character recently made by famous artists.

The physical aspects of the calender itself...

- Paper will be an executive style marble, thick enough so that you won't see the printings on the other side.

- Use of colour/color and/or monochrome/black & white is optional

- It will be presented: landscaped in an executive presentation booklet with an attachment in the middle of the top page

- A protection film to cover the entire booklet.

It maybe costly to me but its worth the effort. The costs will be sorted out between me and George (Eva2000) once he received his copy.

Everything will be sorted out once I have received ALL 5 pics from other participants and I will start on the printing ASAP at the nearest printing (and cost efficient) place in Perth or Sydney (whenever I get back that is :sweetdrop ).

Alright, I want everyone to spread the word and no buts, excuses (I heard lousy ones before so none for my sanity's sake!), rants, accidents, ANYTHING!!

Makes a few more phone calls and begins ordering 11 goodies of everything she listed and places for printing...

Oh dear...

I have to wait for tomorrow to hit and see what submissions I can expect from two other people or more who STILL wants in on this. If not, I have no choice but to have my back up pic as well, in case this happens. Of course, I will NOT alllow anymore extentions.

The waiting ENDS NOW!

Judging by those pics, they're good.

But the first one, Observation, her right foot doesn't look right. More like stiff at the ankle there.

Though the second one, Loss (I would have called it anguish but its your work), is very convincing. I LURVE IT!

You're in animeiris. But how long can you manage to design and paint everything in a matter of a few days say between 3-4?

Plus, the participants can't wait any longer for the others to submit theirs in time.

Those two pics are ready to go. I can have a go at redoing her feet.

The ones i'm currently working on are skeches which need to be scanned in which i can't do currently (dam XP needing new drivers which i can't get for this old scanner).

I can scan it else where and can try to get it done in five days. But i'm not to confident of that. I can do it but i lose quality the faster i go. Evident in the 4 other pics in that series, which i pulled off in 2 days each.

Yeah the title has to do with a story i'm writing behind it.
